Bought this last month and I can say it is functional as a TV but not as a computer monitor connected to a Mac. The blacks are not black, the whites are not whites. It's uncalibrated for graphic design and LUTS in videos. They colours are not accurate for professional work. I tried every single calibration method.

I connect my Mac mini to the dual monitor setup to handle my everyday tasks as a technology teacher! Having 2 large monitors helps me to get and stay organized and it looks beautiful in the process! When I have downtime I have my Nintendo Switch connected to one monitor and my Xbox connected to the other so I'm either collecting coins with the Mario bros or I am diving into a Call of Duty session. No matter what I need to do my monitors look good and perform the job to perfection. I even purchased a 3rd monitor for school because I love this monitor so much!!!!

One of my favorite parts is the picture optimizer. The AI optimizer switches automatically from when I am gaming to working on the computer to watching a show. The AI voice amplifier is an amazing addition! It makes the people talking around me less bothersome by adjusting the volume of what I am watching. I also like that it has SmartThings app that I can control all of my household Samsung products on! I like that it has HDMI port to connect my gaming system if I choose not to play the games already included. I highly recommend this monitor!

I use this monitor for work, streaming, and so much more. The screen quality/graphics/picture is unreal! Also, my son uses it at times for his gaming. It is easy to use and so many functions that even the "less than savy" user can manage! I have and will continue to recommend this to friends, family, and even strangers on social media!! I am never disappointed with Samsung, my number 1 choice always. I wish I could afford another one now, but will definitely be buying more in the future. Thank you Samsung for amazing products!!

The streaming works great, but the CPU seems slow compared to a 5-year-old 85-inch Galaxy Smart TV. I often have to run device care to close apps running in the background. I pre-ordered this model. Most of the health features didn't work right away until the first major firmware update and nobody Samsung was able to tell me what the update entailed. My daughter is moving in with me in a few months. I will probably give her this TV and order myself an M8. I haven't had time for video games lately so I cancelled my Xbox ultimate plan and do not own a console.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really disappointed with this Samsung monitor. The original unit suddenly stopped working twice and eventually wouldn’t turn on at all. I contacted support and got a replacement — only to face the same issue again. The replacement monitor also shut down unexpectedly and is now completely non-functional. I expected much better quality and reliability from Samsung. Dealing with repeated failures is frustrating and disrupts my work. This kind of experience seriously undermines confidence in the brand. I’ll be reaching out to support again, but honestly, I’m not sure I can recommend this product to anyone.

It saves me necessity of a second monitor and place on my desk. This multifunctionatility simply kills the competition of other good 4K monitors offered in today’s market! Congrats SAMSUNG!!! One more thing for your consideration - the remote could be more functional instead to use the remote from one from my two Samsung 4K TV I have at home because not many people use so many Samsung products as I do.

This has to be the lowest quality monitor I've ever used. Look at the pictures I've attached. The first is what the M70D looks like and the last two pictures is what my other 4k monitor looks like. In addition to the image being terribly distorted, there is a very heavy finish on the monitor which makes the text look incredibly fuzzy and blurry. The monitor looks like its 1080p in resolution due to this finish, and the colors and color accuracy looks atrocious. I honestly hope the product I received is damaged, because if not, it is crazy that this is what they are intentionally selling to people.

The screen automatically adjusts depending on what I’m doing, and I notice a difference between streaming Netflix and doing regular work. I love that I can stream Netflix, YouTube, and other apps directly on the monitor without needing a PC. The USB-C port is another big win, just one cable for power, video, and data keeps my desk clean and simple. Overall, this monitor nails it. The visuals are stunning, it’s packed with useful features, and it’s completely changed how I look at my old 34-inch screen. I couldn’t be happier with the upgrade.

I never encounter any issues unless with brightness (needing to adjust for different consoles usually) but once I change the brightness, I can just switch it back. It's a very large monitor as well giving me lots of viewspace for whatever I have on screen whether it be gaming, working, studying, or even just having a few tabs open. It has a good refresh rate and I'd give it a 5 out of 5 in performance, looks, and long term use.

The colors are so vibrant and really bring my games to life. I have been playing RPG games and they have a fantastic refresh rate. My gaming experience has really been much better. There are so many great features like being able to use it as a tv and use its App Library for connected streaming services. This gave me the ability to switch down to one monitor instead of two and I love having more room on my desk. It also has a thin profile which makes more room too!

It doesn't get any better than this and for the price I couldn't believe it! I use this TV for creating my social media content and I don't even know how I did it without before meeting this spectacular Samsung television. It clear, bright, crisp, sounds like I'm front row in a movie theater, most of all its FAST. Easy to connect to my internet and then b it was game on like stepping into the future this made my content creations a smooth walk in the park. With an integration into the smart things app, you have control with your phone too. That also helps make setup really intuitive. There are so many things that I have not explored yet, but as a monitor in a bedroom office to do WFH, this will also be able to double as a TV, freeing up a regular TV for another room. Boxed well and secure, easy to use vesa mounts, hdmi and usb-c cable included, this smart monitor comes with everything you need to get started. Also to note, while I used the vesa mounts and not the stand, the stand is one of the most stout stands I’ve ever seen with a tv/monitor. It’s got a lot of heft and will not tip!

I use windows but as you all know, playing hdr content in windows, in any other browser besides edge is straight horrible. This is where the smart part of the monitor comes in, it has built in streaming apps with natively supported hdr10. HDR content might not matter to some but it matters to me cause why watch content in sdr format when you can watch in hdr and make it look 100x better you feel, but yeah overall a great monitor for productivity and entertainment

The screen is huge and is way better for juggling multiple windows when I'm working from home. The colors pop really nicely when I'm watching Netflix and gaming. I didn't expect to use the smart TV features. It's nice to just be able to fire up YouTube without having to connect my laptop. The speakers are actually decent too, which surprised me since most monitor speakers are trash. Setup was pretty painless, and it took maybe 20 minutes to get everything configured. It's been solid for both work stuff during the day and gaming and movies in the evenings. The whole thing looks clean on my desk and doesn't feel cheap or flimsy like some of the other monitors that I have looked at.

If i wanted to I could also use it as a gaming monitor but the refresh rate if you're really into gaming wasn't too ideal for fps or high framerate games, but a casual or solo player game was perfect. The remote interfered with my tv so i had to move my monitor to a different place lol. But the Remote works flawlessly and it never seems to lag or hiccup at all. Highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this 32" monitor as the primary monitor (out of 2 32" external monitors) for my laptop via an MSI docking station. While it doesn't have the picture quality of my S90D OLED, this monitor has shown itself to be more than capable of vivid color displays and the Smart features are just a nice bonus when I want to stream content from an app, and I've also found that using the USB port on the back for an added external drive has been very convenient when connecting to my laptop via USB-C (TB4). I do wish that the UI was a little faster, and wish there was a way to isolate my Samsung TV remote from controlling this monitor, because it frequently gets accidentally turned on or off when trying to turn the nearby TV on. Overall, I'm happy with the quality of the monitor for the price.

Definitly would recommend attaching it to the wall. I have always wanted a large monitor, I use EXCEL and WORD a lot, and like having both open. This monitor makes it easy. It is also great for editing pictures. The only draw back for me was the length of the supplied cables. All 3 should be longer for a monitor this size. Especially the power cord.

Used primarily for work but when the living room TV is in use and I need another TV to watch my shows I use the M7 as it also a smart TV. Only issue is if you hav another Samsung TV in the same room as the M7, the TV remote will turn on or off the monitor as the TV remote activates both smart monitor and smart TV. It's a little annoying and I hope Samsung updates the M7 somehow to only react to the M7 remote and not standard Samsung TV remote.

Disappointed with Poor Design – Avoid This Monitor The Samsung 32" Smart Monitor M7 is a prime example of bad engineering. The stand is made entirely of cheap plastic—way too small and short to properly support a monitor of this size and weight. It's not adjustable, and mine broke immediately after installation. This kind of stand should have been made from sturdy metal, not flimsy plastic. Very poor design choice for an otherwise decent display. Extremely disappointed.

Resolution is great for both my use-cases, and the overall experience has me wondering how I got by without it in the past. For work, I use the monitor as an extended screen for my 4k laptop display. While colours aren't quite the same on both displays, I really don't mind because they're rather similar, and my workflow doesn't require calibration on that level - which the monitor does have, by the way. I sometimes wish it had a third HDMI port, or that the USB-C input could be expanded by a hub to attach more sources. For media consumption, it's pretty great. Speakers aren't the best quality, but they're good, and I use Bluetooth headphones most of the time. In all, it's a solid package worth every penny.

What I love the most is how smooth it feels when switching from watching TV to working on my laptop. With just one click on the remote I can move from one to the other and it makes my day so much easier. The remote itself is slim, practical, and very easy to understand. Everything is explained clearly which makes it user friendly. The fact that it is solar powered and I dont need to worry about batteries is simply the best feature for me. The 43 inch size is perfect to maximize my work as a designer. I can have up to four screens open at the same time and work in a very dynamic way. The image quality is just perfect and the sound is also excellent and versatile. I absolutely love it.

I bought the monitor for its PiP to find out that it doesn’t do PiP like any regular monitor. It only do its own apps which doesn’t work for productivity. The specs are misleading and it explicitly say multiscreen setup using ports but it doesn’t. I called Samsung and they refused to stand behind their product. Don’t buy this monitor, it’s as good as a the software and it’s software is slow and has a lot of limitations. Poorest design ever seen.

The monitors image color and quality are horrible. Its washed out, heavily warm - red tinted, has bad clarity, and is bad at replicating colors. I have never in my life had a monitor this bad and have had 10+ monitors personally and used dozens. I adjusted all available color and image settings alot and got it to the point where its barely usable now, but is extreme underwhelming. I expected alot more from samsung and am thoroughly disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Above expectations. 43 inch monitor at 4K 60fps. Using the product as a monitor and a Smart TV. It has many features that I wanted. Better than expected video quality and smartphone and PC integration. (Especially in the Samsung ecosystem) I have the white model, which is very thin, lightweight and looks quite excellent. The inexpensive price is the key with all the features and uses. Without going into tremendous detail about using it as a PC, external PC interaction, charging and multiple inputs, it does exactky what I wanted it to do and more. The only cons are the slow menu system, but the UI is pretty fast and of course not being 120hz or plus. (Expected at the price point) The bluetooth integration and Keyboard/mouse aspects put the cherry on top. 43" monitor, that I use as a smart TV and more with this price point, can't be beaten.
I recommended this product.

In the mornings I have live news on the Samsung channels and the display setting is dynamic cos the room is bright by mid morning I switch to monitor view for my work and large data bases I work with. By close of day I switch back to Netflix for relaxing and I change the display to movie. At this point and getting ready to sleep. I use my monitor 24/7 and have had not issues with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this Samsung Smart Monitor and although the description says 43", much to my surprise it is the size of one of the TVs in my home. It was very easy to set up and the stand is made of plastic and comes with all the screws that you need. Turning on the TV and connecting it to my WiFi and Samsung account was very seamless and easy to do. The total set up took maybe 20 minutes from start to finish. Quality is very nice and the picture and use of plugging in the monitor to my laptop is easy. I am very happy with the purchase and feel like the monitor is a great addition to my home office. It also is very multi-use and multi-functional which I appreciate. I think in the future, I likely would have gone with the smaller monitor as I am limited to the areas in my home I can put the monitor, however, due to its size I am able to also use it as a smart TV as well.
I recommended this product.

It dwarfs my other 22-inch monitors. However, after trying it out a few days, I have gotten used to it and I love it. I basically have 4 monitors in one--instead of switching from app to app (excel, chrome, etc.), I can have them all up at once. The built-in wifi means you don't need to connect to a computer but can use this as a TV. I can stream shows and games. (gaming hub) 4K picture is nice. There are 2 HDMI ports (1 ARC), 3 USB, and one USB-C. The only critiques I would have would be that (1) it does not have any DP ports (which most PCs still use) and (2) because I'm sitting close to it, I can feel the heat coming off the screen. Overall, this is basically a TV that doubles as a gaming / computer monitor. I have other Samsung TVs, and the UI / apps work in the same way. Great product.

I wanted to use this as an external monitor for my chromebook. I bought this particular one because it had USB A ports, and I *assumed* that meant it was a USB hub. But no, it intercepts the mouse and won't let the connected chromebook see it. For some reason it lets the keyboard through, though. Samsung says that if you want the mouse to get through, you have to install an MSI file. Well, I'm on a chromebook (or a linux box) so that does not work. Come on, people! Not everybody is running windows! I am NOT happy about this. Otherwise, it seems to work ok as a monitor, but if I'd known this, I definitely would have bought something else. The chance that I'll use the streaming stuff in the monitor is vanishingly small; I really just wanted a computer monitor and I thought, what the heck, why not add the other stuff on the off chance that I might want it? But the other stuff makes it less useful as a monitor, darn it!

This is a very good TV. Great features. Great picture. I bought it as a computer monitor. It took me a long time to get it working reasonably. The documentation for my purposes is very limited. I was hoping to use the USB ports as an extension to my computer, but haven't been able to figure that out. I can charge my phone, but I can't hook up a USB camera.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Similar to getting my first Galaxy smartwatch, I had no idea how much the additional features of a smart monitor would improve every day life. Sure, I use it for work and the screen resolution is crispy and clear. Samsung monitors last forever, which is why I keep coming back for more. But it's also now having a TV in my set up, along with video game streaming, along with streaming music, along with SmartThings remote control, along with.... I think you get the idea. I didn't think I would use every feature it had, just because it had so many. I have a Samsung TV, and a gaming console, and a Samsung Surround Sound system, so why would I want all of what those can do in a monitor? Because they all work together and it's now an additional option in case my wife is watching TV and I'd like to play a video game. Or I want to stream music without turning on my computer. I'd say it's a jack of all trades, but that would be doing it a disservice. It's an ace of all trades.

I use the xbox cloud gaming in this monitor and the performance is great, if you want to switch between games or go back to the TV "mode" is a bit slow, however considering it is still a smart monitor I will say it's fair.

It is a perfect monitor and it honestly looks like it will stand the test! The 4k definitely chimes and quite actually tooo me 3 minutes to assemble and completely setup. The quality is great and the hub feature reduces the clutter by connecting to several USB devices with the same USB C cable that is used for display and data transfer.

Great monitor. Bought two for my office. Used my phone to calibrate the color and everything popped into place. The only thing bringing it down is the that the Multi-View doesn't support the most obvious sources; I can't use HDMI input as one source (from my computer) and use the smart features (Samsung TV, Apps) as the other view (either side-by-side or picture-in-picture). The only secondary source for MultiView is remote PC projection or a Samsung smart phone. Big missed opportunity to work while also having TV on the same screen. The other "quirk" I discovered is when I plugged my Dell wireless keyboard into the USB port to use monitor as a hub it wouldn't wake up the computer when it went to sleep (either computer or monitor). I don't know if it's specific to my wireless keyboard model, or whether a wired keyboard and mouse wouldn't be affected by this, but defeats the purpose of using monitor as a hub if it also puts the peripherals to sleep so you can't use them to wake up the system.
I recommended this product.

This monitor is not too big. The brightness of this wonderful monitor is unbelieviable. It was not difficult to setup using the wizard. I do recommend using it with about 36 inches of space between the monitor and your eyes. Its like having 3-4 monitors in one. Once I install the easy settings box, I can have up to 6 apps in plan view at one time. I can have 4 apps in view at the same time and I only need 1 power cord and 1 HDMI cable. the monitor has speakers that are really good. The clarity is top notch. If you are going to mount this monitor, you will need Vesa 200X200 adapter plate to use with an Arm Mount. You will need to adjust your scale as windows auto sets it to 300% scale. I reduced it to 150% and its perfect. I had two HP conferemcing monitors and I will miss the built in camera and phone feature, but I can use my Laptop for that. I highly recommend this monitor if you want to reduce clutter, have a minimalist work area, be able to multitask, if you want to stream apps during breaks. And it doesn't break the bank.
