This is my first flip phone and I'm really impressed and happy that I traded in my S24 to get it. The ease of use, the way it snugly fits in both my hand and pocket is a real pleasure added to this, It's weight is minimal. I like the two taps to wake it up while folded, and the way it opens up to a 6.9 onch screen. The sharp display and zoom functions of the camera I also find impressive. The extra security features and responsive screen, the ability to add extra memory for more intense app usage are great functions to have too. The hinge mechanism on my Galaxy Z flip 8 also feels durable and well constructed. The battery lasts me a full day at moderate usage and charges at 25w, which is fine for my usage. There are still more features for me to discover over the coming days and yet this phone is now my new favorite device.

I recently upgraded from the Motorola RAZR plus 2024 and I've got to say, while having a similar look and feel, the overall experience is mind boggingly different. From the extra half centimetre of width to the customization, cohesiveness and ease of the Samsung family. Truly a beautiful product inside and out. The camera is amazing, the display feels ingrained and like that of a regular no flip phone. I can't attest to the durability as it is protected like fort Knox on a bad day. Battery is ok from what I've experienced so far but I assume it will get better as it learns my usage patterns.

I'm absolutely in love with the new pink Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8! The colour is stunning it's stylish, modern, and definitely stands out. The foldable design is so convenient, you cannot see the flit screen ince opened showing 0 crese! Its that smooth. Flipping makes traveling easier as it fits easily into my pocket or handbag while still opening up to a gorgeous ful -sized display. The camera quality is fantastic, the battery easily lasts me through the day and everything runs so smoothly. I also love how customisable it is, especially being able to personalise the cover screen to make it feel unique. It pairs perfectly with my Samsung devices, making everyday tasks so much easier. I preordered my Flip 8 to replace my flip 6. The battery life is great, the front screen is more functional than previous models and the hinge looks better as well. The phone looks durable and has good cooling as it doesn’t get heated even with extended use. Super happy with my phone. 10 on 10.

Ok, so I have gone from flip 6 to 7, and now 8. I really like the flip. It's a good form factor in my pocket. This one is only a slight upgrade, though. Camera etc are much the same. The more powerful chip is noticeable when in use. My biggest issue is battery. It didn't need to be slimmer and lighter, because it was already a compact size. It needed a bigger capacity battery, that doesn't run so hot. This thing gets insanely hot if, say, you are running android auto with sat nav going. To the point where the phone shuts down. Not good, during a long car journey to somewhere you don't know. So, this has not changed from the 7. I was hoping it would. Everything else is good.

I got Flip4, ordered and got my upgrade Flip8, happy with upgrade :) - slimmer, better in everyway vs my old Flip4 - but noticed one flaw, that's the battery, i can see battery is eating away even not using heavily Otherwise, is a good buy! lots discounts on it from pre-order!

I pre-ordered it and been using it for about a week. My previous one was Flip 6, compare to my old one, I would say there's been a major upgrade. Especially for the cover screen. It's now the entire face which I really like it. It became significantly thinner as well and lighter. The crease, I believe is less visible and doesn't really bother much, although I need to see how long it last. Overall I'm very satisfied with it.

After upgrading from a Flip to a Fold to last year the Samsung Galaxy Z flip8 is a much welcomed return to functional flip phones - no gimmicks. The full back display and cameras being on the same surface allows for photography moments that no other smartphone series does. The Z Flip8 feels lighter and yet more durable than it's predecessors and after double checking right now... The main screen 'crease' is nowhere to be seen. The only place where the phone feels lacking is it's battery performance. It's not bad by any means but is also nothing to write home about and will need a charge before the day is up as well as overnight. Genuinely a fun and functional flip phone - would recommend!

It's a phone with all the standard phone features but by far the best thing about this phone is the fact that it can fold up into a smaller size resulting in a less bulky item in your pocket or bag. The front screen that you can see when the phone is folded means you don't have to unfold the phone to access various apps and messages. This is super convenient. I'm still relatively new with the phone and I'm discovering really cool features every couple of days. Would recommend.

You cannot tell me otherwise that this isn't the perfect phone. After several iterations this is the peak of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8. Everything is convenient, comfortable and so customisable. There are just so many features and benefits of this form factor. Just from quickly changing my music or making payments. Each time I use my phone I can feel the envy from others around me. Especially when I show off that the cover screen while taking photos and they can see themselves.

It's been a week and I still love the phone. I previously had the Flip6 but the pixels on the main screen died less than two weeks in but I am hoping it won't happen again. So far, I like the additions to the cover screen and all the apps that can be used on it as well as many other features.

Just got the new Z Flip 8 a few days ago after upgrading from the Flip 7. The extra processing power makes everyday scrolling and multitasking feel smooth. That compact footprint that flips open into a full-sized screen is still the best part of the phone. Loving the cover screen upgrade. It’s getting so much closer to perfect compared to the 7. Being able to handle quick tasks right from the outer display without unfolding the phone is excellent and it saves a lot of battery life throughout the day. When I need to do real work like invoicing or browsing, opening up to the main display transferrs perfectly. I do wish the cameras took a leap forward, but I get that fitting high-end camera hardware into a device this thin comes with trade-offs and added cost. Overall, after coming from the 7 there's not a lot to notice, but something quite upgrades can be the most useful.

the most surprising thing is that it’s really light! i think i would have to get used to how long the display is, and it feels a bit less sturdy than an IPhone, but i really like how compact and small it is. the small outside screen is really cool and I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it. The hinge seems sturdy and you cannot see a crease in the screen at all. I thought the crease would be more prominent and i would hope it stays clear over time. Not sure how the battery is, but if it lasts longer than an iphone, that’s great!

The main screen has a protection film on it which does cover the front/inside camera which makes selfies kinda blurry however, you can use the back/rear camera when the phone is shut to take selfies as well and they look great. I used to have flip6 and enjoyed it for two years. FLIP8 is AI based with larger screen. It suits me well because I travel at least for 3 to 4 months a year and the fold is perfect for me to take it in my pocket. Usable back screen now that can show most apps. Hardly any crease noticeable. Nice and thin. Minus a star for the weak processor and same old camera hardware for the last few versions. Good value when purchased with discount coupons

I received my order on August 5, 2026. I had used the Flip before the older generation, then switched to the Fold, and then I switched to S Ultra series just to test. However, I then thought to myself that I would like portability, and comparing it with the Z Flip 7, it is lighter and much better. I don't know, I just feel the difference. The battery isn't bad either, as I only use this for photos, calls, texts, and a bit of social media; I'm not a heavy user. I was thinking of getting the Fold 8, but it wasn't a match for me, although I really liked the Fold 8 Ultra. But for me, I use the iPad for other things like mobile gaming, etc., so I decided this was it and I would grab this. It's still usable in daily life, and I'm happy with my purchase in the end. Hopefully, next year there will be major improvements, and hopefully, they do not discontinue this product, as the Flip and Fold have different feelings, and I purely chose this for portability and fashion to match me. If you're a heavy user and play games and do lots of multitasking as well, I would recommend the Fold 8 or Fold 8 Ultra in the Flip and Fold series.

Aesthetically pleasing phone and very functional - quick and responsive phone that can do everything you need - take your own selfies and keep the phone folded or open into a 6.9” full phone. 1tb storage upgrade would be great but maybe next year - 512gb will have to do for now. With a colour selection that is good I’ll stick to graphite. Battery life is excellent ! The fold seems very stable and opening the phone 100 times a day for five years is said not to damage the phone.

I upgraded from my flip 6 and it's so nice having a bigger screen on both the inner and outer screens. Love the new pink colour. The phone seems to have less of a crease as well.

I got the phone a week ago, The durability, the hinge and the battery are really good. I was a bit skeptical of the hinge, but after using it for a few days, I can say that the phone is pretty durable.

I absolutely love the flip series. I was previously an Ultra user but switched when they launched the flip 3. I love having an incredible camera and not losing any screen size while enjoying the convenience of the small size for putting it in my pocket!

Display/screen are much improved, hinge is less obvious, size is slightly wider but good, weight is lighter so makes it comfortable to hold in the hand, camera is great, battery lasts longer, display is good, very pleased with the overall improvements, as a longtime user of Samsung and their products, a considered price purchase for an upgrade or switch to a new make but can highly recommend. 5* keep up the good work Samsung

I upgraded to the Flip8 from the Flip3 and I must say, the experience is worth it. The 8 is lighter, wider, crisper and has a much more seamless folding bezel with a satisfying, audible and soft close. Aside from the obvious benefits to upgrading from an older generation (battery life, bigger and better quality display), the flip8 feels like a more thought-out, premium device, as the hardware no longer has the tempered glass that made the flip3 feel slippery and fragile, and has a vastly improved IP rating of IP48, where the 3's IPX8 rating meant the screen is now lost to peeling from the protective film and scratches. The fold crease is also much more subtle. Overall, I'm very happy with my choice, and look forward to properly saying goodbye to the 3 once retailers start selling Flip8 cases and the screen protector comes back in stock!

I love my new flip 8. I previously had the flip 7 and have had a flip since the flip 3 . The flip 8 is thinner , lighter and has more options on the cover screen than the flip 7. I find that the crease is even less noticiable and the hinge seems nice and tight. The display is crisp and i love the AI wallpaper options as i can just describe the pic i want and it appears! I am sure i will find more things i love about this phone. The main reason i love a samsung flip phone is because you can easily slip it in a pocket or a small handbag. I have only had it for two days so cant really say much about the durability of this particular model but having had 3 previous models i can say that i usually upgrade after 2 years( though i only had the flip 7 for a year ) my phones are always still in great condition and working perfectly well after 2 years.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
