The phone itself is a good size and weight, even with a good rigid case fitted. It's my 1st folding Samsung after having several Samsung Galaxy phones before this and I was impressed with he flip screen. My main issue with this phone is that my Garmin will now not pair to this phone despite 4 hours of doing a vast number of suggested actions to try to pair the two devices. My previous phone had no issues at all and as a daily cyclist this is a huge blow for me when spending this amount of money on a device. I would research Garmin connectivity online before buying any phone to avoid having this problem, I'm sure a quick search will help highlight the devices to avoid, unfortunately I didn't expect to have to do this kind of research on a new Samsung.

Pro- - Perfect chips, 16gb ram makes it fast with multiple apps open once and not get laggy - Light phone, very minualist, really like the green colour - Light crescent, better foldable experience. - Faster charging speed, easier to open the fold inside Con- - Slow transfer speed, tooks around 3hrs to transfer everything from old S24 Ultra to my phone. And needs to re-enter every password - fragile, didnt do anything and there is a noise when open and closing the fold inside. - No more s-pen support, was thinking about editing pdf and stuff. Overall, good quality, good camera, using education discount etc got to arounds 2.3k, worth the value.

I’m really impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. It’s a premium phone that combines a beautiful design with powerful performance and an amazing large display. I've been using the Fold 8 Ultra for a week after upgrading from my S25 Ultra, and I am loving the multitasking capabilities of this phone. When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

My last fold was the Z Fold 3. I switched back to the S series as the Fold was a bit lacking in some specs. I started to miss the bigger screen. I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.

I’ve had the Fold8 Ultra for a week now and have been really impressed with it. The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. This has been by far the best one!

Wasnt really interested in upgrading from my fold 5 but eith the features on the fold 8 ultra i couldnt help myself. The battery lasts so much longer not having to make sure its fully charged in the evening and still easily making it through the day. Dispaly is so much crisper and brighter. The hinge is smoother and so much easier to open and close. Honestly was worth the wait and unsure how it could be topped. Highly recommend

I received my Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra only 1 week ago. Still discovering all the benefits in this new phone since my Note 10. Not really missing the pen. As keyboard is responsive on outer screen. Loving the size when folded and being able to read my books, without having to carry another device. The fold line is not visible for me and as I am traveling this week I am exploring all the configurations. The tutorials are helping me, but as a 70 year old I plan to make an appointment at a Samsung experience store to hone in on features most beneficial to my usage. The battery has been great lasting up to 3 days with frequent use for maps, searches etc as we travel. With only one week i am treating carefully, so not yet able to comment on durability. Hoping to keep this phone longterm!

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra 1TB is honestly a really nice phone. The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

I’ve been extremely impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. What stands out most is how Samsung managed to give it such a large, beautiful folding display while keeping the phone surprisingly thin and light. It feels much more comfortable to carry and use than I expected from a foldable with this much screen space. The inner display is easily my favourite feature. Once unfolded, it feels like having a small tablet in my pocket. Reading websites, checking emails, viewing photos and videos, and working with documents are all much more enjoyable on the larger screen. Multitasking is also excellent. Being able to have multiple apps open at the same time makes the Fold especially useful for productivity. I can check an email while looking at another app, browse the web while taking notes, or move between tasks without constantly switching back and forth. I also really appreciate that I can use the outer screen like a regular smartphone when I just need to do something quickly, then unfold it whenever I want the extra space. It gives me the best of both a phone and a tablet in one device. The combination of the large folding display, thinner and lighter design, and excellent multitasking has made the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra one of the most enjoyable smartphones I’ve used. Samsung has done an excellent job refining the foldable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a premium phone with a much bigger screen when they need it.

I got this as an upgrade to a previous Samsung fold, and this new Fold8 Ultra is a big improvement over older folds as soon as you pick it up! The folding mechanism seems more sturdy, the crease on the inner screen is basically non-existent during typical usage, and the phone is so light! It's amazing that this is so much more improved than other folding phones while being so slim and nice to hold and easy to read. I've been putting it through its paces with gaming a lot as well, and the battery has held strong and barely drains compared to previous models. This is a seriously good phone, and if you enjoyed previous folding phones - you'll love this one.

The consensus this year is that the cheaper Fold 8 stole the show. I bought the Ultra anyway, and after a few weeks I'd do it again. At 4.1mm unfolded it's the thinnest foldable Samsung has made, and it no longer feels like a compromise device you carry for the novelty. The 8-inch inner display is genuinely the reason to own this thing — reading, email, side-by-side work, all of it stops feeling like a phone. The 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery finally lasts a full day without negotiation, which previous Folds never managed for me. The base Fold 8 is the smarter buy. The Ultra is the better phone.

7 days since I got my Ultra 1T Fold8 - Love the screen and display, crystal clear and so bright, puts the S24 I had which I thought was amazing in a different league. - The overall Performance of the Ultra 8 has been amazing, everything has been so smooth and very intuitive - All the apps, functionality - Amazing. The hinge is effortless and the whole device feels very durable and solid. I have been surprised with the battery performance too which has been better and with the wireless charging has made it super easy to still be mobile and productive on the go. I love that it feels so light and less chunky that previous versions - this is solid and elegant - Great Job Samsung - Something to be proud off and to shout about.

Came from the Fold7. I wasn't sure if the upgrade would be worth it, but despite how incremental it is, it makes for a far more complete device! The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

From switching from the s series of samsung phones to the z series, the experience I've had on the phone so far has been excellent and offers a different experience to the s series at no drawbacks. The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

I love the Fold 8 Ultra. Feels so premium. Its a big difference when upgraded from Fold 6. Such a productive device. Wish they had the s pen capabilities as well. Battery holds up pretty good. And love the new hing and display. Non reflective inner display is so good. New hinge gives you that confident on its durability. Fyi: phone may take couple days to look into the pattern of your lifestyle to analyse the battery usage,so the performance may be slow for that tine period. Once the analysis is completed, its super responsive and perform pretty. Super excited with this one.

As a fan of foldables the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra finally brings everything together. The battery is big and reliable, so you’re not constantly watching the percentage. The crease is still technically there, but it’s finally at the point where you mostly forget about it. Durability feels much better thanks to the titanium structure and tougher overall design. The hinge is smoother, sturdier, and just satisfying to use. The responsiveness makes the whole phone feel fun and fast every time you open it. If you already love foldables or have been waiting for one that feels “ready” for everyday life, the Z Fold 8 Ultra really does feel like that milestone device.

I preordered this phone the day preorders opened, and my gosh I am happy that I did. The Z Fold 8 Ultra is so extremely thin that its just the size of a normal phone when folded, and unfolded becomes extremely easy to hold. Even with the thin body, Samsung did not skimp out on battery size or the processor speed. It has one of the longest battery lives I've had on a phone in a while. The anti reflective coating on the inner display makes it so easy to view in harsh outdoor lighting too. If you're on the edge of whether the ultra model is worth it, I'd say go for it.

After a few weeks of use, I can honestly say I love this phone. The camera is amazing, the features are excellent, and the Fold has exceeded my expectations. Coming from a Galaxy Flip, I was worried it would be too bulky for everyday use, but it fits comfortably in my pocket. The flexibility of using it folded for quick tasks and unfolding it for a larger-screen experience is outstanding. The only drawback is that a premium phone at this price point should include a Galaxy S Pen and have dedicated storage for it built into the device.

This phone was recommended to me by a friend, now I’m not a technology enthusiast but I like a phone that can help me switch between work and entertainment and have a sort of balance.This phone excels in both, I love how I can do my work and then swap out to a larger screen when I want to see two things at once, much easier than swapping tabs every 2 seconds. I have been using the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra for a while now and honestly, I am really impressed with it. Display is one of my favourite things. It is bright, sharp and the big inner screen makes watching videos and doing work much more enjoyable. Battery life has also been better than I expected. With normal daily use, I can get through most of the day without worrying about charging.Performance feels very smooth too, even when I have several apps open at the same time. I was a little unsure about the Hinge at first, but it feels strong and well made. The phone also feels more solid than I expected, which gives me confidence about Durability for everyday use. There is a small learning curve because it is different from a normal phone, but after using it for a few days, I got used to it quickly. Overall, it feels like a premium phone that is actually useful.

Compared to my trusty S23 Ultra I'm loving the slightly smaller format but whow when you open it up it's a game changer. Fast,smooth and just a work of art and craftsmanship. Sometimes I feel it's a bit delicate compared to a single brick style but I guess I'm just getting used to it. Pick a good quality case as it does put your mind at rest on the protection front. Battery life seems s goods as my S23 even using it unfolded. The hinge is reassuringly positive on open and shutting, just remember if you rotate it while watching something you remember as trying to shut it the wrong way could damage it.

This is my third Fold. The 6 was good but I do a lot of photography so I was disappointed. The 7 was an exciting unit and the camera was a vast improvement and I really like the larger closed format. I knew rhe Fold 8 Ultra was physically rhe same size and I was expecting that. Technically it was again a superior phone and rhe Thinner format factor and vastly improved camera were very welcome. I am a serious technology user and utilise to rhe fullest the multitasking and brilliant open screen. Well done. I was hoping for a much improved battery life over the Fold 7 as I'm on rhe unit more or less 10 - 12 hours a day and do appreciate the Fold 8s increased battery capabilities and make full use of the fast charging.

I have the z fold 8 ultra and the feelings of the device is what stands out to me. It feels more complete, it's hard to describe. The battery life is about the same as my previous z fold 7 and that is disappointing. But I just like the feel of the 8 over the 7. The galaxy watch ultra 2 is beautiful and presents as elegant with a side of rugged. Again the batterybis somewhat disappointing but what can be perfect. Would I recommend the new Samsung tech, Yes!!! What comes next for the 9 will be interesting as what changes can be made to a device that is almost perfect. Samsung needs to reward it's loyal clients. I have had all the folds and it would be nice to receive some kind of recognition for loyalty. Great product, great feel, good value.

I love the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. The display is bright, sharp, and impressive, especially on the big screen. Battery life has been excellent with my daily usage, and the phone feels fast and responsive when switching between apps. The hinge is solid and smooth, and the build feels sturdy and well thought out. This phone is a fun and powerful foldable device that is perfect for everyday use. However, when I transferred data from my Galaxy S26 Ultra using a provided cable, I encountered a permanent glitch on the display text. It appeared as a sharp contrast, like monochrome, in some areas of the main and cover display. It felt as though the cable transmitted this glitch, resembling the way a disease spreads. This glitch, resembling the cable, much like a disease, spread from one phone to another. I attempted to restart both phones, but that did not resolve the issue. I was only able to eliminate the glitches from both devices before performing a factory reset. Overall the phone is satisfactory for 5000 mAh battery support.
Have the phone for about a week now, love the Fold 8 Ultra. Could really tell a big difference coming from my Fold 6. Definitely notice the huge difference like the weight, thinness, wider main and cover screen. Also really like the new camera and the longer battery life and fast charge.

The phone is sleek though physical not different from the fold 7. The display is brighter which is very good .The camera was awesome ,my wife used it for her tiktok videos and immediately noticed the huge difference with her iPhone 17. The videos were amazing .The battery life should be good as I have not charged it since after the unboxing.The screen is better now and looks stronger,and would last longer ,removing the hinge made a huge difference.Secondly ,the screen responds to the thinnest touch and the response is faster. I am not happy for missing out again on the Samsung gifts .Last year I got the fold 7 early and later Samsung gave out gifts for buying the fold 7,once again I ordered and there are no gifts now ,most certainly I will miss out once again which is not fair to me as an ardent Samsung fold fan.

Great features and easy to use. Feels like i am using a normal phone due to its height and width with the benefits of having a massive screen once unfolded, which makes it feel like a mini Galaxy tab. I was hesitant to get another fold since my fold5 which lasted 3 years, but geez, im so glad i got this one now. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is considering this style of phone. I traded in my s25 Ultra and was worried that I would miss the pen. However the wow factor of being able to open the phone up to see the gorgeous large dispaly more than makes up for it. I am very impressed with the fact they have made the fold almost invisible. I can honestly say that I am totally unaware of it whilst using it and sometimes have to look at the back of the phone to make sure I am going to close the phone up the correct way. A brilliant piece of technology. It's just as quick as the S25 and overall I am extremely pleased that I traded in my S25.

Exchange from S24 Ultra to the Fold, good improvements overall, but beware, DO NOT USE smart switch, everything allegedly went across, then just didn't work, it seemed the apps lost half of their code, had to factory reset and add manually, all good now, fingers crossed

Coming from the s24 ultra, i was sceptical about whether the fold was overkill but it made me realise how my everyday tasks can be done with much more efficiently. To start, the front screen is perfect for one hand control. This was a limitation with the s24 ultra but the aspect ratio allows me to type, scroll and navigate without having to move my hand up the phone. The inner screen is an absolute weapon, incredibly bright, fast and decent battery. Multitasking is no longer annoying and a joy to undertake. Could not recommend more.

An excellent machine as I expected and so far it is doing pretty much everything | want. The engineering is quite remarkable. The screen is beautiful and the crease is much less than that of my old Z fold 4. I hope it is more resilient and will not crack down the crease as that one did even whilst still in warranty. Without a protective cover, I find the phone rather slippery to handle particularly when opened. The thinness is very impressive but I would rather have preferred a return of the S pen or at least the integration of some sort of stylus. I also wish you offered a range of protective covers with a stylus, a stand and RFID space for cards. Is there one you recommend that I can be sure will work well?

Had it for less than a week and loving it! I was on a Fold5 and just a huge change in weight, thinness and the wider single screen and double screen. The hinge is still just as durable feel despite how thin the phone is. Really like the new camera and the longer battery life/ fast charge. Love the Violet Shadow hero color. Great prelaunch offers!

The battery is better than what I had on the S26 Ultra. The display on both screens is impeccable and cannot be beaten yet. The hinge is seamless when opening to the big screen. The responsiveness is incredible. As much as i know it's a new phone out of the box but the phone given its style feels durable, well made and great engineering. It's an expensive phone yes but you get what you pay for.

Its a good device but a little expensive and better hinge now
Purchased last month fold 8 ultra as replacement for fold7. Not much changed, but battery lives up to expectations now. I can get through the day on a single charge. Screen appears brighter especially outside. The crease never bothered me much, but became visibly smaller. One nice improvement is ease to open. Fold7 was a challenge to open with large hands. Not a problem with 8. Other than that, same nice phone.iterative changes, nothing revolutionary or to brag about.

As someone who has religiously bought every Ultra phone since 2021, I was convinced no phone could top a flagship slab. I was wrong. This thing is an absolute masterpiece. Unfolding a giant screen out of nowhere still feels like black magic every single time I do it. Running three apps at once makes me feel like I'm piloting a spaceship, and normal phones now feel like child toys. Absolutely life-changing. Easily the best tech purchase I've ever made.

This is my first fold coming from the so called slab phone the s25 ultra. I have to say it grows on you as you use it. I chose this version as it's mainly for my work and multitasking capabilities. I like that unfolded it has two 5.5 inch screens. I do however, wish that there was an s-pen and they would do two 6.5 inch screens to live up to the ultra name. However, all in all my productivity has increased, for my work I have to review a lot of work and research so reading and multitasking is bar none the best I experienced on a phone. I hope they can add the 3 horizontal windows from the regular fold 8. Make sure you research a good case the phone is fragile compared to the slab phones. The battery has been impressive so far and lasts me almost the full day, we'll see in the long run. Responsiveness is good too.

My first fold phone and I love it. I've been with Samsung since the very first Galaxy phone. This phone is very thing and much lighter than my S24 Ultra. It opens a whole new way of using a phone. Unfolded you can multitask with more apps open and with some apps expanding further. I can't praise this phone enough and there's no way I could go back to a slab phone. The outer display isn't quite as wide and the hight of my S24 Ultra but it's not much. I expect this will eventually change in future models My life cycle with phones is 2 year it'll be Fold 10 for me.

I pre-ordered my Samsung Z Fold 8 Ultra, and they delivered it on 5th. It's an amazing phone. What I like most is that you get a normal phone when it’s closed, but once you open it, you have a big screen that feels more like a small tablet. The screen looks beautiful, everything feels smooth and fast, and multitasking is really convenient. I can use one app while checking something else without constantly switching back and forth. The phone also feels premium and well built. The cameras take great pictures, especially in good lighting, and the battery is good enough for a full day with normal use. The speakers are also clear and loud. Overall, I’m very happy with the Samsung Z Fold 8 Ultra. It feels like having a phone and tablet in one device. Definitely worth considering if you love big screens and premium phones!

I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra for a little over a week, and I absolutely love it! Coming from the Samsung Galaxy S25U, I love the thinner outer display, it makes one handed texting on the go super easy. I also love the wide inner display for multi tasking, viewing the internet, and watching videos! The only thing I wish Samsung would have added was the same cameras as the S26U. Overall, I would never go back to a regular slab phone.

Having had this phone for 2 weeks since release, I am so impressed and delighted with it. It exceeds my expectations, AI functions incredible, camera good, all layouts very clear, especially when opened out. Multiple page openings at the same time saves time and brilliant for speedy work. Everyday reveals a new function /experience. It is light to carry and unbelievably user friendly, the best buy I've ever made.

everything about the phone phone Factor the screen side is excellent that's the best part of the z-fold 8. But be aware of the inner screen display where if you close the phone the borders of the phone does not protect the inner screen rather the inner screen touches each other so any kind of debris will cause the inner screen to break. You might also find that the touch response is not that great as the bar phones of the ultra. I just love the size, Samsung needs to work on this phone factor and make it perfect. Display quality is great but sometimes or most of the times it reduces the brightness I do not know for whatever reason it might be. And battery life it is okay for now goes through the day but you need to recharge it twice a day.

I just got this a few days ago but playing around and tweaking everything I'm quite happy with it went from s25 to this phone and it feels much more premium the camera looks better and it's just a great experience with the multiple screens the ability to change DPI within the regular menu would be a nice win overall but I've had a lot of fun tweaking and playing around with that overall quite happy with this phone

First time owning a fold and have found it to be such a unquie experience. The transition from the front screen to the larger screen is effortless and the crease is barely visible. Being able to split screen pages useful when doing multiple tasks as being the larger screen its easier to read and navigate. The battery life last a good couple of days if i use it normally and when im using it for work can easily get through a day or hard use before needing to charge. Overall very pleased with my purchase and will definitely be recommending

Purchased this product via preorder offer and received it earlier than the official release via express post - this was wonderful. The product itself is incredibly sleek, slim, with beautiful screens inside and out. Opening and closing this device is a joy, and after opening the crease quickly disappears from view. It is absolutely amazing to do anything on this phone including reading, watching movies, browsing the web, looking at photos. I will never go back.

I've had the fold8 ultra for 2 weeks now and I can not fault it in any way. The screen is so clear and crisp, it sounds fantastic whether it's a movie or music, battery life is an easy 2 days for me, the few games I have played on it ran smoothly, the 200mp camera is like nothing I have ever seen before, The fold line on the internal screen is not there,The ui is better than ever and it works flawlessly on the 5g network. I am coming from the fold5.

I was the real fan of NOKIA and after that I was thinking there is no one can replace Nokia, after being used several other brand like HTC Motorola, LG, I decided to use Samsung the 1st model that I used was A71 was a real amazing phone then based on that I bought flagship Galaxy S22 ultra then I became the fan of Samsung specially the S-pen, that make the use more easy for signing the document or writing notes. Now about Zfold previously used fold 7 it was good but weight hinges line when fold and low quality camera, I traded. In with z fold 8 amazingly low weight thinner more beautiful look camera quality and beautiful cream color but for the missing part of this fold series is S-Pen I really feel this missing as of 8 inch screen size when open help in writing letters and signing the edouments. I believe that by the time it will improve to real next level. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra worth buying 100% recomended. Good Luck Samsung.

I received the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra 5 days ago, and I do not regret it at all. It's my first fold phone and I'm so impressed. The battery life is incredible, leaving me with almost 40% battery at the end of the day after regular use throughout the day. The inside screen is great and the crease is totally unnoticeable when the screen is on. The hinge allows the phone to lie totally flat when open (though the camera bump prevents it from being at on a table entirely flat). The responsiveness is great too, especially when switching from the font screen to the second bigger screen inside. I am content in is durability too. All in all, I would suggest to friends and family to consider moving over to a fold phone. Specifically the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.

Bought this to replace my Fold 6 which I liked but had a lost of small things that could have been better. The fold 8 resolves all the small issues I had with the Fold 6! Bigger battery, thinner phone, lighter phone, bigger front display and almost no crease!

I've had my phone for close to a week after upgrading from a Fold 6. I've found the screen on opening is a lot smoother and I prefer that there is no cut out of where camera on the Fold 6 was. The battery life so far is better than previously and the phone feels a lot slimmer. I find when closed the phone screen is easier to use as a normal phone without the need to open. I often found the 6 could be a bit harder to use the front screen.

Love everything about this phone. A great switch from Galaxy Ultras. FOLD Ultra in comparison to GALAXY Ultra, Fold is stylish, compact when folded and fits in my palm better than Galaxy Ultra, its lighter, its great for Netflix when unfolded. Its slightly slower but not sure if thats due to my network. The only compromise I have made is the lack of stylus, hence I have called it almost PERFEC-t. Love it and highly recommend!

Battery is much better than the seven fold. I wish that the widgets (i.e. calendar, weather, etc) were clear so you can see background theme though I appreciate the range of colour choices. Still waiting on more durable cases because how fragile the hinge is. I badly want the z pen possible for the fold series, I'll trade that over thinness to be honest.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
