Not because I feel the need to upgrade every year, but because Samsung has consistently improved the experience. The large inner display makes multitasking effortless, performance is always smooth, and it feels like carrying both a phone and tablet in one pocket. Even after all these years, opening the Fold still feels special. Going back to a regular phone now would be hard because the Fold has become such a natural part of my everyday life.

everything about the phone phone Factor the screen side is excellent that's the best part of the z-fold 8. But be aware of the inner screen display where if you close the phone the borders of the phone does not protect the inner screen rather the inner screen touches each other so any kind of debris will cause the inner screen to break. You might also find that the touch response is not that great as the bar phones of the ultra. I just love the size, Samsung needs to work on this phone factor and make it perfect. Display quality is great but sometimes or most of the times it reduces the brightness I do not know for whatever reason it might be. And battery life it is okay for now goes through the day but you need to recharge it twice a day.

I just got this a few days ago but playing around and tweaking everything I'm quite happy with it went from s25 to this phone and it feels much more premium the camera looks better and it's just a great experience with the multiple screens the ability to change DPI within the regular menu would be a nice win overall but I've had a lot of fun tweaking and playing around with that overall quite happy with this phone

I ultimately chose this phone for the large display for video streaming and gaming. The large foldable display makes streaming, gaming, and browsing feel completely different from a traditional phone. It’s fast, responsive, and the overall build quality feels premium. I also love being able to use it like a regular phone when it’s folded and then open it up when I need a bigger screen. I adore this tablet phone. The dimensions are just right, the screen is gorgeous, the crease is invisible, it's one heck of a fantastic book reader and great for movies and I adore it in my pocket. Comfortable, fast, quick to charge, great cameras, it's the perfect package. The hinge is very responsive and it's easy to open.

I've always been curious by the Fold line, but the phones were always 2nd tier with cameras, screen, etc. With the newest Fold 8 Ultra, it finally checks the boxes I wanted to make the change. The screen is sharp and vibrant, the anti glare makes the crease basically non-existent, and the cameras are solid. The only reason I went with a 4 instead of 5 is that, even though it has the same battery capacity as my Galaxy Ultra did, this one seems to discharge a little faster (when using the outer screen, obviously the unfolded screen will use more). It's not a significant difference but I can tell already, so I'm unsure how it'll hold a charge 6 months from now.

I received my new phone in the mail ahead of schedule and switching everything from my old Fold 6 was so easy. As for the phone, this upgrade is incredible. The Fold 8 Ultra and as wide when folded as my Fold 6 is unfolded. It's noticeably faster when I'm playing games or loading pictures and videos or using AI editing, so lightweight, and picture quality is an impressive jump in quality. They just keep getting better and more durable. I chose the Zfold 8 Ultra as an upgrade to my Zfold 7 because of the extra battery capacity, the newer CPU, the better camera, the better screens (love the more matte look over the shiny), and an ever better hinge. Most of the time, I only use the front screen, but if I want to show off a family picture, or zoom in on an article, I just unfold the phone. Most people are absolutely amazed and ask me what the phone is called. The phone size fits well in my back pocket.

Shadowgreen is very deep green and the display is really, really bright. Compared to z fold 7, it has lots of different features. In the application, start your day, it gives me my preplan recommendations.For the whole day for the brief and I really like it. If I have to pick one phone I will put pick only for ultra 8 Z fold because it's slim and is lighter than my z fold 7 and i'm glad that I purchased this device. It would be super cool if it was just like 2.5 mm wider but is a big improvement over my last phone, which was a Z Fold 5. It feels pretty darn close to a regular candy bar phone when closed. Even with a heavy duty case on it it still feels pretty slim!! We will see how the hinge holds up but I chose to specifically wait for the Z Fold 8 to come out because I heard about the improved hinge technology. I watch a ton of sports on the go which is the main reason a big internal foldable screen is a must. This one is amazingly sharp and big. Additionally when following instructions or trying to read info on one app to input into another, the large foldable screen is perfect for multitasking!!! I would say the pre-order process was a mess. But as to the phone itself, the best one I have ever owned!!!

The 200MP camera is a big improvement over the 50MP on the 6, and the wider front screen makes it easier to use, and the antireflective inside screen with a barely noticeable crease is a pleasure to use. I only hope that the inside screen does not delaminate, like every previous generation has.

My god was I wrong. The phone has gone so thin that when folded it is the same thickness as a single screen of the fold 4. I chose the fold specifically for multitasking purposes for work on top of all the gaming, video surfing, and reading manhwas. Been using the AI feature such as the generative image using photos just taken from camera ever since getting the phone and it hasn't stopped being the talk in the group. I've been on the Z Fold train since the Z Fold 6 and then I ended up with the Z Fold 7, and now I have the Z Fold 8 ultra which I'm stoked about. But I'm extremely extremely disappointed that the Z Fold 7 and the Z Fold 8 ultra do not have S.Pen compatibility, that's my biggest complaint that I have and really my only complaint that I have. I'm insanely disappointed that the Z Fold 8 does not have the S.Pen support, and I'm praying that you guys will bring it back and I want an internal spot to store the s.Pen and the Z fold will be complete in my opinion.

But after using the 8 ultra, I'm fully satisfied that I chose to upgrade. I've been using the fold 8 ultra constantly all morning long and I'm only at 88% at 1pm. The fold 7 would have been at 50%. The subtle angling Samsung added to the exterior makes it much easier to open. No more needing to dig your fingernails in the middle of the phone! The hinge feels stronger, more responsive, and of course the screen crease is hard to find. The anti reflective coating on the inside hides it even more! So many quality of life improvements, very good phone

I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me. From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens. I chose the violet shadow color which I absolutely love. It's dark and now too flashy, perfect for my taste. I just love the phone!
