No task to big, the smooth functionality and powerful processing make this phone better than all the rest. I bought the 256gb 12 gb ram model, my only regret is not buying the 1 TB 16 gb ram model, if anyone reading this is on the fence with making this purchase, don't, buy this phone! You won't regret it!!!!!!

Pro- - Perfect chips, 16gb ram makes it fast with multiple apps open once and not get laggy - Light phone, very minualist, really like the green colour - Light crescent, better foldable experience. - Faster charging speed, easier to open the fold inside Con- - Slow transfer speed, tooks around 3hrs to transfer everything from old S24 Ultra to my phone. And needs to re-enter every password - fragile, didnt do anything and there is a noise when open and closing the fold inside. - No more s-pen support, was thinking about editing pdf and stuff. Overall, good quality, good camera, using education discount etc got to arounds 2.3k, worth the value.

My biggest gripe however, is that the cameras lenses stick out too far and make for an awkward typing experience when the phone is sitting on a flat surface.

It all happened when I bought my wife are Galazy S26 ultra, I was looking fold with good battery life and the durability also with display and some like Zfold came up on Google that samsung is speculating on this. And I told my self no matter the time I will wait and on my membership samsung a notification came up for me to pick what I like, I selected mobile, electronic as my favourite because I look samsung product my washing machine is samsung, I also use galaxy S25 before I traded it in for Z fold 8 ultra and I also wish to change my TV to samsung too. Honestly I wasn't disappointed with my expectations on the phone, I so much love the phone along with the features it has.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first attempt at a folding phone was a Microsoft Surface Duo. Since then I've owned almost every single version of the Zfold series. They just keep getting better and more durable. I chose the Zfold 8 Ultra as an upgrade to my Zfold 7 because of the extra battery capacity, the newer CPU, the better camera, the better screens (love the more matte look over the shiny), and an ever better hinge. Most of the time, I only use the front screen, but if I want to show off a family picture, or zoom in on an article, I just unfold the phone. Most people are absolutely amazed and ask me what the phone is called. The phone size fits well in my back pocket.

I have been looking at the z series since the first fold debuted. Back then it looked like more money and a downgrade from the flagship S series However, this time they have perfected this device. Extremely thin, upgraded cameras, full day battery and a beautiful screen is all that made me switch from s25 ultra. I used it folded half day in the office and the moment i get home i enjoy the beautiful huge screen that unfolds to watch videos and shorts on social media. Love this device.

My last fold was the Z Fold 3. I switched back to the S series as the Fold was a bit lacking in some specs. I started to miss the bigger screen. I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.

The foldable screen is fantastic for multitasking, watching videos, reading documents and getting work done on the go. The performance is smooth and fast, and the camera quality is excellent. What I like most is that it feels like having a smartphone and a small tablet in one device. Samsung has done a great job making the phone feel premium, practical and innovative. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra for a few days and honestly, it has been behaving like it’s trying to replace my tablet. The battery easily gets me through the day, even when I am doom‑scrolling or multitasking. It doesn’t panic at 20% the way some phones do and would just keeps going like it’s got something to prove. The main screen is gorgeous. Bright, sharp, and big enough that I sometimes forget it is still technically a phone. The crease is there, but it’s more like a faint wrinkle than a dramatic fold and feels like nothing that ruins the experience. The hinge feels solid and smooth. Opening and closing it is oddly satisfying, and it does not wobble or feel fragile. It seem sturdy enough that I am no longer opening it like I am handling a newborn This phone is fast and responsive. Applications open instantly, multitasking is effortless, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes everything feel snappy. It handles my chaotic switching between apps without breaking a sweat. I would say, overall, it is a powerhouse with a personality and easily one of the most fun devices I have used in a while. I would not be commenting on durability at this early stage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Fold 8 Ultra for its sleekness. And it is indeed so slim when opened or closed. Everything is absolutely fabulous! With only one exception. My gripe is coming from the Fold 6 the speakers are a bit quieter than I'd like. If that is ever something that can be adjusted, this would be the absolute best phone ever.

I've been using the Fold 8 Ultra for a week after upgrading from my S25 Ultra, and I am loving the multitasking capabilities of this phone. When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

Bigger, thinner and much more advanced..just wish the pen was back..hard to give a detailed review after 7 days but I'm impressed withe the upgrade frrom my Fold 3.

I’ve had the Fold8 Ultra for a week now and have been really impressed with it. The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. This has been by far the best one!

Although the Z Fold 7 didn’t have a great battery—requiring a charge at least twice a day—the use of a higher-capacity battery in this model is a real success. The longest runtime I managed to achieve on the Z Fold 8 Ultra was 1 day and 6 hours. Well done to Samsung for the decision to use a larger battery.

Also use the big screen for browsing web pages and reading! Every time I open it to show someone something on my phone, they are amazed at the size of the screen, but also the compactness of the phone when folded closed. I love the new Z series and hope they continue improving and making them going forward.

The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

I've always wanted a Z Fold but was waiting for the right time to get one. I chose the Ultra version for productivity as I am in IT and basically having a tablet in my pocket is perfect. Having the three camera lenses is a bonus too. The battery is great and charges fast. I had the s24 ultra before and this is a serious upgrade.

I got this as an upgrade to a previous Samsung fold, and this new Fold8 Ultra is a big improvement over older folds as soon as you pick it up! The folding mechanism seems more sturdy, the crease on the inner screen is basically non-existent during typical usage, and the phone is so light! It's amazing that this is so much more improved than other folding phones while being so slim and nice to hold and easy to read. I've been putting it through its paces with gaming a lot as well, and the battery has held strong and barely drains compared to previous models. This is a seriously good phone, and if you enjoyed previous folding phones - you'll love this one.

I used to have a Galaxy S24 Ultra, although they have the same 5,000 batteries. I'm able to use it for a lot longer. I wish charging would be faster, but other than that, it is well worth it.

I chose to upgrade from my Z Fold 7 and the new Z Fold 8 Ultra is noticeable more slim and refined feeling as you use the phone. The hinge is smooth and closes with ease and there is no visible crease on the face. You can tell the design team spent some effort to smooth out the feel of the device.

The hinge is effortless and the whole device feels very durable and solid. I have been surprised with the battery performance too which has been better and with the wireless charging has made it super easy to still be mobile and productive on the go. I had the first generation and the third, fifth, and seventh. I can unequivocally state that the 8 Ultra is what us foldies have been asking for. The display is sharper that previous models and it runs anything I throw at it. Gaming, AI, Google Sheets, 3 bank apps at once; you name it I've tried it. The camera is wonderful and am glad I can trust it to take amazing pictures. The thinness makes this feel like I am using a regular brick phone but expandable! I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me. From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens. The consensus this year is that the cheaper Fold 8 stole the show. I bought the Ultra anyway, and after a few weeks I'd do it again. At 4.1mm unfolded it's the thinnest foldable Samsung has made, and it no longer feels like a compromise device you carry for the novelty. The 8-inch inner display is genuinely the reason to own this thing — reading, email, side-by-side work, all of it stops feeling like a phone. The 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery finally lasts a full day without negotiation, which previous Folds never managed for me. The base Fold 8 is the smarter buy. The Ultra is the better phone.

The 200 megapixel main shooter takes amazing photos, and the software enhancement to the pictures is also super impressive. The cover screen of the device is no longer skinny, but a normal sized screen that is way easier to use.
