I have been looking at buying the flip model for some time and finally bought the z flip 8. It was delivered within 2 days and I certainly don't regret my decision. It's was so easy to set up and transfer data from my old phone. The battery is amazing and the spec of the phone is fantastic. I love the AI functions available. The phone itself is very stylish and have many comments about how good it looks. Would highly recommend.

Pro- - Perfect chips, 16gb ram makes it fast with multiple apps open once and not get laggy - Light phone, very minualist, really like the green colour - Light crescent, better foldable experience. - Faster charging speed, easier to open the fold inside Con- - Slow transfer speed, tooks around 3hrs to transfer everything from old S24 Ultra to my phone. And needs to re-enter every password - fragile, didnt do anything and there is a noise when open and closing the fold inside. - No more s-pen support, was thinking about editing pdf and stuff. Overall, good quality, good camera, using education discount etc got to arounds 2.3k, worth the value.

Fits in every pocket, bag, purse and it reminds me of good times with my old flip phone. Never miss an opportunity to grab a cute selfie with it's nee and improve screen. Modify your discord call setting from the front, never having to open the phone. And the crease? Almost invisible. What a phone. I can't wait to watch the next movie during a flight on this thing. And when I'm done, I can fold it up and put it in mt shirt front pocket. So handy.

I chose the Galaxy Z Flip8 mainly because of its compact folding design, and in that area it is excellent. The phone is easy to carry, the displays look great, performance is smooth, and the overall build feels premium. Unfortunately, my biggest concern is Wi-Fi reception and stability. I compared the Flip8 directly with my older Samsung phone in the exact same location and on the same Wi-Fi network. My older phone could maintain a normal Wi-Fi 6 connection, while the Flip8 showed noticeably weaker reception and sometimes lost Wi-Fi completely. When I moved the Flip8 closer to the router, the Wi-Fi 6 connection returned to normal. This happened repeatedly over several days of use, so it was difficult to blame my router or internet service. For a premium phone, reliable Wi-Fi is a basic requirement, and I should not have to stay unusually close to the router to maintain a stable connection. The camera and battery life are acceptable, but neither feels exceptional for this price range. I really like the compact design and wanted to keep the phone, but the Wi-Fi reliability issue is too important for me to overlook. Overall, I give the Galaxy Z Flip8 3 out of 5 stars: excellent design and portability, but disappointing wireless reliability.

I've been using the Fold 8 Ultra for a week after upgrading from my S25 Ultra, and I am loving the multitasking capabilities of this phone. When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

The phone itself is a good size and weight, even with a good rigid case fitted. It's my 1st folding Samsung after having several Samsung Galaxy phones before this and I was impressed with he flip screen. My main issue with this phone is that my Garmin will now not pair to this phone despite 4 hours of doing a vast number of suggested actions to try to pair the two devices. My previous phone had no issues at all and as a daily cyclist this is a huge blow for me when spending this amount of money on a device. I would research Garmin connectivity online before buying any phone to avoid having this problem, I'm sure a quick search will help highlight the devices to avoid, unfortunately I didn't expect to have to do this kind of research on a new Samsung.

I’ve had the Fold8 Ultra for a week now and have been really impressed with it. The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. This has been by far the best one!

My last fold was the Z Fold 3. I switched back to the S series as the Fold was a bit lacking in some specs. I started to miss the bigger screen. I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra 1TB is honestly a really nice phone. The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

I had the Zflip4 for years and never had a single issue, so I knew as soon as they announced the Zflip8 that I was already sold! I watched the whole live product reveal like a kid at Christmas, so much fun! I chose the pink and it's absolutely beautiful! As a woman, bulky is not an option. The flip is perfect for tucking in your pocket and this full front screen is incredible, excellent design. I could not be happier with this phone.

I got this as an upgrade to a previous Samsung fold, and this new Fold8 Ultra is a big improvement over older folds as soon as you pick it up! The folding mechanism seems more sturdy, the crease on the inner screen is basically non-existent during typical usage, and the phone is so light! It's amazing that this is so much more improved than other folding phones while being so slim and nice to hold and easy to read. I've been putting it through its paces with gaming a lot as well, and the battery has held strong and barely drains compared to previous models. This is a seriously good phone, and if you enjoyed previous folding phones - you'll love this one.

Wasnt really interested in upgrading from my fold 5 but eith the features on the fold 8 ultra i couldnt help myself. The battery lasts so much longer not having to make sure its fully charged in the evening and still easily making it through the day. Dispaly is so much crisper and brighter. The hinge is smoother and so much easier to open and close. Honestly was worth the wait and unsure how it could be topped. Highly recommend

Folded: Wide and compact like a passport — the 5.5-inch cover screen is way more usable one-handed for texting, scrolling, and quick tasks. Unfolded: The 7.6-inch inner screen has a near 4:3 ratio that's excellent for videos, YouTube, Netflix, and browsing with fewer black bars. The crease is much less noticeable thanks to new Flex Titanium tech, and the hinge feels solid. It’s fun to open and close. Some people might still find the thickness or sharp corners slightly awkward in tight pockets, but overall it's a huge improvement in everyday comfort.

I chose my seafood green Zflip8 because it is small and fits in my pocket at work. I teach at a high school and love how it small. The camera is also amazing! I teach art and have to take pictures of my students work and post it on school sites and they look so clear. It connects great with my Galaxy watch so I do not need take out my phone if I get a call, text or email. The front screen is useful as well and makes answering the phone and quick thinks easy without having to open the phone. It looks likenit has some video and camera options that are really nice. I have not had time to test it but it looks so practical. I used the scan document option and that has many options to text or document and looks very clear. This is a great phone for someone on the go, wants a small phone and wants an amazing camera.

I chose this particular model because after watching multiple Korean romance movies I'd seen the flip on there. And as a result, I started doing a little bit of research and found that this is something that I would like. Now I am a Samsung customer for life. Ever since I got my first Samsung, I would say, early 2008 I haven't stopped since. And I am in love with my z flip, I like the way that it's compact.I could put in my pocket.I can put it in the pocket.In my purse, you know, it's not cumbersome.I love the quality of the pictures, or I like how it's all set up.I like just everything about this.And it's only been a couple weeks, and now i'm glad that I made that switch.

Love it! This is my 4th Z Flip the size is perfect for pockets, the main screen is protected by the clam fold it's lighter, the hinge is smoother, the "crease" is almost non existent! Colours are better this year too. Linked to all my other devices seamlessly especially my Mini! Battery also lasting longer, always use battery protection so never charge beyond 85% you can now choose your protection level also. Much more responsive and love the prompt features and AI spam alerts. It feels slimmer but still durable and substantial. You won't be disappointed!

I have been a loyal Z flip owner since its first launch. I have been upgrading every year ever since. I love flip because it fits in all my small purses and my pocket in my scrubs. I have noticed a much faster processing capacity and smoother opening from beinf closed. I was hesistant to upgrade this time around since I knew there weren't a lot of changes made from Z flip 7 which I most recently had. But I'm glad I chose to upgrade since this one feels better in a lot of ways: processing speed, weight, screen folding etc. I'm excited to explore more of this phone and get more out of it. Thank you Samsung for continuing to produce flip.

The consensus this year is that the cheaper Fold 8 stole the show. I bought the Ultra anyway, and after a few weeks I'd do it again. At 4.1mm unfolded it's the thinnest foldable Samsung has made, and it no longer feels like a compromise device you carry for the novelty. The 8-inch inner display is genuinely the reason to own this thing — reading, email, side-by-side work, all of it stops feeling like a phone. The 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery finally lasts a full day without negotiation, which previous Folds never managed for me. The base Fold 8 is the smarter buy. The Ultra is the better phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 is a really impressive phone, especially if you want something different from a normal smartphone. Its foldable design makes it compact in your pocket, while the 6.9-inch main display is bright, smooth and great for watching videos or scrolling. Performance is also excellent, and the 4,300mAh battery is a noticeable improvement for everyday use. (Samsung it) However, it isn’t perfect. The cameras are good, but the ultra-wide camera isn’t as strong as what you’d get on Samsung’s top non-folding phones. The biggest issue is probably the price, especially because the upgrades over the Z Flip 7 aren’t huge. (Popular Mechanics) Overall, I’d recommend the Z Flip 8 to someone who really wants a stylish, compact foldable. But if you already own a recent Z Flip, upgrading probably isn’t necessary.

I chose the Flip8 due to the lack of decent sized pockets in women's clothing and the nostalgic feeling of the old flip phones I liked so much years ago. The Flip8 fits in my pockets so much better than my last small galaxy S24. And, I enjoy the retro feeling of flipping the phone open! The Flip8 may not have noticeable advancements from my last S24, but I am enjoying the style. The screen is great. The battery life is good, but not a huge improvement over other new phones. That would be my only criticism. It's all about the compact size for me. Please don't stop making Flips! And, please keep making phones in light colors. It's easier to find in a bag.

Came from the Fold7. I wasn't sure if the upgrade would be worth it, but despite how incremental it is, it makes for a far more complete device! The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

7 days since I got my Ultra 1T Fold8 - Love the screen and display, crystal clear and so bright, puts the S24 I had which I thought was amazing in a different league. - The overall Performance of the Ultra 8 has been amazing, everything has been so smooth and very intuitive - All the apps, functionality - Amazing. The hinge is effortless and the whole device feels very durable and solid. I have been surprised with the battery performance too which has been better and with the wireless charging has made it super easy to still be mobile and productive on the go. I upgraded from a Flip 6 to a Flip 8 about a week ago and completely love my new phone. Setup was effortless. My apps and data transferred from my old to new phone perfectly. Everything works exactly as it should. The slightly larger phone still fits easily in my purse or pocket. Photos are crisp and clear. I am really enjoying the expansion of functionality that is now available via the front screen, I can't think of a downside and having used it for a week, I would absolutely buy this phone again.

I recently upgraded from the Motorola RAZR plus 2024 and I've got to say, while having a similar look and feel, the overall experience is mind boggingly different. From the extra half centimetre of width to the customization, cohesiveness and ease of the Samsung family. Truly a beautiful product inside and out. The camera is amazing, the display feels ingrained and like that of a regular no flip phone. I can't attest to the durability as it is protected like fort Knox on a bad day. Battery is ok from what I've experienced so far but I assume it will get better as it learns my usage patterns.

I have been a loyal z flip girly since the first generation and I have throughly felt like every new flip came with updates that were absolutely worth the upgrade year after year. The 8 does have decent updates; however, these updates are more so for convenience rather than needs for increased usability. For me personally, I could've gone without the upgrade to the 8. I only upgraded due to the rumors of this being the last flip so I wanted to make sure I had the latest version if this were to be true. I think if you enjoy the flip 7 and don't need or can't afford the upgrade, then you're good and aren't missing out on much.
Really happy with this phone. The design is sleek, the screen looks great, and the camera takes solid photos. The flip design is also really convenient. Overall, a well-designed phone that I’d definitely recommend.

From switching from the s series of samsung phones to the z series, the experience I've had on the phone so far has been excellent and offers a different experience to the s series at no drawbacks. The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

Tiene varios defectos bajo mi punto de vista. Procesador, cámaras y batería. Del precio ya mejor ni hablar. El procesador debería de haber sido el Snapdragon, las cámaras ni siquiera tienen macro y la batería como hagas un uso normal del teléfono, no llegas a casa con él encendido. Una pena.
Por ahora muy contento. Vamos a ver si me acostumbro al flujo de trabajo de la pantalla extendida. Que recogido sea más delgado que mi iPhone me estalla la cabeza.

I bought z flip 8 a week ago and it is one of the best choices I’ve ever made, not gonna lie I found it slightly difficult to change from an ios to android but I am surprised that it was better than I expected, I got used to it so quickly. I liked the back camera but the front camera isn’t great like the back one, also u may feel some heat in the cover screen after using the phone for a while. The battery also lasts for a long time. The crease is not obvious when you open it which is a good sign. Overall it is best choice I’ve made.

As a fan of foldables the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra finally brings everything together. The battery is big and reliable, so you’re not constantly watching the percentage. The crease is still technically there, but it’s finally at the point where you mostly forget about it. Durability feels much better thanks to the titanium structure and tougher overall design. The hinge is smoother, sturdier, and just satisfying to use. The responsiveness makes the whole phone feel fun and fast every time you open it. If you already love foldables or have been waiting for one that feels “ready” for everyday life, the Z Fold 8 Ultra really does feel like that milestone device.

so I had the flip 4 and went back to tablet phone (s25+) to see how i would get on. needless to say I went back to the zflip 8 and, so far, I love it. easy to use main screen and great screen on front which can do so much and I'm still learning! the main screen is very responsive and battery life seems good although I'm still to test properly . the feel of the phone is so much better than the flip 4 and s25plus, much thinner than both of these making it unobtrusive when in pocket . hope the durability of the hinge has improved as this was the only thing that let me down on the 4 version. quality of pictures and videos are great for a phone. so far so good and so glad I switched back to a flip.

I am upgrading from a Samsung Galaxy Z flip 6 to a Samsung Galaxy Z flip 8 and the differences are very impressive. The camera is much improved and the battery life feels a lot better. I love the amount of care and thought Samsung gave to the external screen, what you can do now on the outside is so impressive it's almost like having two phones in one. The color is also very nice with the pink tone. Also the opening and closing now is much better than before it has a more satisfying click when it opens and closes. Samsung also continues to do an incredible job with the crease in the screen when the Z Fold 8 is opened.

The thing i really love for tge Z fold 8 ultra is its display. 8.0 screen plus naka 3000 nits na so mas ma enjoy mo siya ma use even your outside and direct sunlight. Plus wala na siyang glare from mga lights. Hindi na nagrereflect.Hindi nadin halata ang crease niya as in parang wala na talaga. Mas smooth na gamitin specially kong e unfold mo. Mas mataas ang durability level nito kasi mas matibay na yong flex hinge nya, mas may peace of mind ka na while using the device.. Very responsive with its 120hz. Plus naka 5000mah na yong battery. With 30mims. naka 65% kana din nang battery so less waiting time sa pag charge.

I like the integration of the second screen, it seems the most integrated and useful. I wish it was a little smaller. The responsiveness of the screen is nice when switching with the hinge. Battery seems good. I'm worried about durability and the hinge.

Coming from the Z Fold7, the Z Fold8 Ultra feels like a proper upgrade. The display is noticeably better — brighter, more pixels, anti-reflective and, most importantly, the crease is basically gone. The cameras are another big step up too, especially the main camera and zoom. It’s still very much a Fold, but this feels like the version Samsung should’ve made from the start.

Ok, so I have gone from flip 6 to 7, and now 8. I really like the flip. It's a good form factor in my pocket. This one is only a slight upgrade, though. Camera etc are much the same. The more powerful chip is noticeable when in use. My biggest issue is battery. It didn't need to be slimmer and lighter, because it was already a compact size. It needed a bigger capacity battery, that doesn't run so hot. This thing gets insanely hot if, say, you are running android auto with sat nav going. To the point where the phone shuts down. Not good, during a long car journey to somewhere you don't know. So, this has not changed from the 7. I was hoping it would. Everything else is good.

I bought this replacing my s26 ultra knowing the pros and cons. So far I'm happy with it, the crease has improved a lot and watching or playing on the unfolded screen is enjoyable. Quality seems low on facebook and instagram folded and unfolded but it seemed to have fixed itself through an update of the apps themselves. The camera bump at the back is probably my only issue, its thickness is more than the phone body itself hopefully a case will fix it when i can find one.

I preordered this phone the day preorders opened, and my gosh I am happy that I did. The Z Fold 8 Ultra is so extremely thin that its just the size of a normal phone when folded, and unfolded becomes extremely easy to hold. Even with the thin body, Samsung did not skimp out on battery size or the processor speed. It has one of the longest battery lives I've had on a phone in a while. The anti reflective coating on the inner display makes it so easy to view in harsh outdoor lighting too. If you're on the edge of whether the ultra model is worth it, I'd say go for it.

I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series because it fits comfortably in my front pocket. Once I purchased my first "Flip," I was spoiled for life. I am someone who upgrades my mobiles frequently, but my upgrades have been exclusively with another Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series ever since it first came out. I had the original, the Flip3, Flip5, Flip6 (loved the yellow colour) and now the Flip8. The phone has proved reliable and with never a crease or crack, I just like to take advantage of Samsung's generous trade-in. I also appreciate that the Flip (so far) still includes a pSIM (nano-SIM) along with eSIM technology. I travel overseas a lot and in some countries an actual physical SIM can be a plus.

This is my first flip phone and I'm really impressed and happy that I traded in my S24 to get it. The ease of use, the way it snugly fits in both my hand and pocket is a real pleasure added to this, It's weight is minimal. I like the two taps to wake it up while folded, and the way it opens up to a 6.9 onch screen. The sharp display and zoom functions of the camera I also find impressive. The extra security features and responsive screen, the ability to add extra memory for more intense app usage are great functions to have too. The hinge mechanism on my Galaxy Z flip 8 also feels durable and well constructed. The battery lasts me a full day at moderate usage and charges at 25w, which is fine for my usage. There are still more features for me to discover over the coming days and yet this phone is now my new favorite device.

For my experience very excellent for fold 8 dahil ang dali nya lang dalhin at ang ganda nyang panooran... grabe din yung design nakuha ni samsung yung talagang need ng mga client sa palagay ko dahil sulit yung mga features na meron to lalo na kung mahilg ka manood ng movie or mag basa dhil sa mga AI na meron sya mas mapapadala narin yung ginagawa mo. Dagdag pa dito meron silang bago yung Fan Cam for video editing na maenjoy mo lalo na kung my mga favorite Character kang gustong gusto mo panoorin... kht sa labas at loob ng bahay unstable yung viewing dahil mataas na brightness nito... for me is a good and nice.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
