The phone itself is a good size and weight, even with a good rigid case fitted. It's my 1st folding Samsung after having several Samsung Galaxy phones before this and I was impressed with he flip screen. My main issue with this phone is that my Garmin will now not pair to this phone despite 4 hours of doing a vast number of suggested actions to try to pair the two devices. My previous phone had no issues at all and as a daily cyclist this is a huge blow for me when spending this amount of money on a device. I would research Garmin connectivity online before buying any phone to avoid having this problem, I'm sure a quick search will help highlight the devices to avoid, unfortunately I didn't expect to have to do this kind of research on a new Samsung.

My first attempt at a folding phone was a Microsoft Surface Duo. Since then I've owned almost every single version of the Zfold series. They just keep getting better and more durable. I chose the Zfold 8 Ultra as an upgrade to my Zfold 7 because of the extra battery capacity, the newer CPU, the better camera, the better screens (love the more matte look over the shiny), and an ever better hinge. Most of the time, I only use the front screen, but if I want to show off a family picture, or zoom in on an article, I just unfold the phone. Most people are absolutely amazed and ask me what the phone is called. The phone size fits well in my back pocket.

Pro- - Perfect chips, 16gb ram makes it fast with multiple apps open once and not get laggy - Light phone, very minualist, really like the green colour - Light crescent, better foldable experience. - Faster charging speed, easier to open the fold inside Con- - Slow transfer speed, tooks around 3hrs to transfer everything from old S24 Ultra to my phone. And needs to re-enter every password - fragile, didnt do anything and there is a noise when open and closing the fold inside. - No more s-pen support, was thinking about editing pdf and stuff. Overall, good quality, good camera, using education discount etc got to arounds 2.3k, worth the value.

I chose to upgrade from my Z Fold 6 to the Z Fold 8 Ultra due to the camera and display updates, and so far it did not disappoint. The 200MP camera is a big improvement over the 50MP on the 6, and the wider front screen makes it easier to use, and the antireflective inside screen with a barely noticeable crease is a pleasure to use. I only hope that the inside screen does not delaminate, like every previous generation has.

Honestly, have been dreaming of this phone before it came out. It all happened when I bought my wife are Galazy S26 ultra, I was looking fold with good battery life and the durability also with display and some like Zfold came up on Google that samsung is speculating on this. And I told my self no matter the time I will wait and on my membership samsung a notification came up for me to pick what I like, I selected mobile, electronic as my favourite because I look samsung product my washing machine is samsung, I also use galaxy S25 before I traded it in for Z fold 8 ultra and I also wish to change my TV to samsung too. Honestly I wasn't disappointed with my expectations on the phone, I so much love the phone along with the features it has.

I chose Samsung Ultra 8 over other products because of its ability to improve my work efficiency. The fold allows me to look and act on emails so much quicker because of the way emails are displayed when phone is expanded. Such a great purchase!

I’ve finally bought the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8, and I’m genuinely impressed. The design is beautiful, compact, and feels much more premium in the hand than I expected the folding experience is smooth, the display looks fantastic, and the phone feels fast and responsive in everyday use. What I especially love is how practical it is you get a full flagship smartphone that can fold down into such a small and stylish form factor the cameras, performance, screen quality, and overall software experience make it feel like a real upgrade. Samsung really nailed the combination of style, innovation, and everyday usability with the Z Flip8. So far, I’m very happy with my purchase and excited to keep using it! I've been using the Fold 8 Ultra for a week after upgrading from my S25 Ultra, and I am loving the multitasking capabilities of this phone. When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

My last fold was the Z Fold 3. I switched back to the S series as the Fold was a bit lacking in some specs. I started to miss the bigger screen. I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.

It's a excellent engineering masterpiece insanely sleek and taking this genuine beauty amazes you every time you pick it up, it's made so rugged but it seems so delicate every time I use it, out of all my Z Folds I used undoubtedly this is by far the best fold. I am sure that Samsung and it's team will continue to amaze us with the coming up Fold series, I am very eager to see what more can be done to upgrade the existing Fold 8 Ultra as it already feels like a Glass sheet to use as a phone. I’ve had the Fold8 Ultra for a week now and have been really impressed with it. The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. This has been by far the best one!

Wasnt really interested in upgrading from my fold 5 but eith the features on the fold 8 ultra i couldnt help myself. The battery lasts so much longer not having to make sure its fully charged in the evening and still easily making it through the day. Dispaly is so much crisper and brighter. The hinge is smoother and so much easier to open and close. Honestly was worth the wait and unsure how it could be topped. Highly recommend

I received my Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra only 1 week ago. Still discovering all the benefits in this new phone since my Note 10. Not really missing the pen. As keyboard is responsive on outer screen. Loving the size when folded and being able to read my books, without having to carry another device. The fold line is not visible for me and as I am traveling this week I am exploring all the configurations. The tutorials are helping me, but as a 70 year old I plan to make an appointment at a Samsung experience store to hone in on features most beneficial to my usage. The battery has been great lasting up to 3 days with frequent use for maps, searches etc as we travel. With only one week i am treating carefully, so not yet able to comment on durability. Hoping to keep this phone longterm!

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra 1TB is honestly a really nice phone. The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

I chose to switch from S series to z fold series because of flawless hardware engineering this time. I have been looking at the z series since the first fold debuted. Back then it looked like more money and a downgrade from the flagship S series However, this time they have perfected this device. Extremely thin, upgraded cameras, full day battery and a beautiful screen is all that made me switch from s25 ultra. I used it folded half day in the office and the moment i get home i enjoy the beautiful huge screen that unfolds to watch videos and shorts on social media. Love this device.

I’ve been extremely impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. What stands out most is how Samsung managed to give it such a large, beautiful folding display while keeping the phone surprisingly thin and light. It feels much more comfortable to carry and use than I expected from a foldable with this much screen space. The inner display is easily my favourite feature. Once unfolded, it feels like having a small tablet in my pocket. Reading websites, checking emails, viewing photos and videos, and working with documents are all much more enjoyable on the larger screen. Multitasking is also excellent. Being able to have multiple apps open at the same time makes the Fold especially useful for productivity. I can check an email while looking at another app, browse the web while taking notes, or move between tasks without constantly switching back and forth. I also really appreciate that I can use the outer screen like a regular smartphone when I just need to do something quickly, then unfold it whenever I want the extra space. It gives me the best of both a phone and a tablet in one device. The combination of the large folding display, thinner and lighter design, and excellent multitasking has made the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra one of the most enjoyable smartphones I’ve used. Samsung has done an excellent job refining the foldable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a premium phone with a much bigger screen when they need it.

No task to big, the smooth functionality and powerful processing make this phone better than all the rest. I bought the 256gb 12 gb ram model, my only regret is not buying the 1 TB 16 gb ram model, if anyone reading this is on the fence with making this purchase, don't, buy this phone! I got this as an upgrade to a previous Samsung fold, and this new Fold8 Ultra is a big improvement over older folds as soon as you pick it up! The folding mechanism seems more sturdy, the crease on the inner screen is basically non-existent during typical usage, and the phone is so light! It's amazing that this is so much more improved than other folding phones while being so slim and nice to hold and easy to read. I've been putting it through its paces with gaming a lot as well, and the battery has held strong and barely drains compared to previous models. This is a seriously good phone, and if you enjoyed previous folding phones - you'll love this one.

I did some research beforehand, especially about the downsides of foldable phones, but honestly, those worries were completely unfounded. It's been a massive boost to my productivity.

I chose the Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra because I was excited that Samsung nearly perfected the foldable phone to date. I had the first generation and the third, fifth, and seventh. I can unequivocally state that the 8 Ultra is what us foldies have been asking for. The display is sharper that previous models and it runs anything I throw at it. Gaming, AI, Google Sheets, 3 bank apps at once; you name it I've tried it. The camera is wonderful and am glad I can trust it to take amazing pictures. The thinness makes this feel like I am using a regular brick phone but expandable! Thank you Samsung for your perseverance and not giving up on the fold design.

I've owned all of the folds but versions 3 and 5. I may never go back to a non-folding phone. My biggest gripe however, is that the cameras lenses stick out too far and make for an awkward typing experience when the phone is sitting on a flat surface.

I chose the Z Fold 8 Ultra over an S26 Ultra and a Fold 8. In my research for the next perfect phone, I came close to purchasing something outside of the Samsung ecosystem, something international, and something completely different. However, with the deals, the bundle, and the specs, I ultimately got the Z Fold 8 Ultra. I highly recommend the Fold 8 and S26 Ultra, but for my lifestyle, nothing works better for me than the Z Fold 8 Ultra. Upgrading from Galaxy Z Fold 6, this was a huge step up for me. I am an engineer working in design field by profession. I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me. From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens. I chose the violet shadow color which I absolutely love. It's dark and now too flashy, perfect for my taste. I just love the phone!

I chose the Samsung Fold 8 Ultra for its sleekness. And it is indeed so slim when opened or closed. Everything is absolutely fabulous! With only one exception. My gripe is coming from the Fold 6 the speakers are a bit quieter than I'd like. If that is ever something that can be adjusted, this would be the absolute best phone ever.

Bigger, thinner and much more advanced..just wish the pen was back..hard to give a detailed review after 7 days but I'm impressed withe the upgrade frrom my Fold 3.

I have only used the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra for a few days and honestly, it has been behaving like it’s trying to replace my tablet. The battery easily gets me through the day, even when I am doom‑scrolling or multitasking. It doesn’t panic at 20% the way some phones do and would just keeps going like it’s got something to prove. The main screen is gorgeous. Bright, sharp, and big enough that I sometimes forget it is still technically a phone. The crease is there, but it’s more like a faint wrinkle than a dramatic fold and feels like nothing that ruins the experience. The hinge feels solid and smooth. Opening and closing it is oddly satisfying, and it does not wobble or feel fragile. It seem sturdy enough that I am no longer opening it like I am handling a newborn This phone is fast and responsive. Applications open instantly, multitasking is effortless, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes everything feel snappy. It handles my chaotic switching between apps without breaking a sweat. I would say, overall, it is a powerhouse with a personality and easily one of the most fun devices I have used in a while. I would not be commenting on durability at this early stage
