It is not suitable for high-pressure water activities and diving. It may be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. Galaxy Watch9 has obtained MIL-STD-810H Certification: high/low temperature, altitude, humidity, immersion, salt fog, dust, vibration, drop, etc. MIL-STD-810H is a standardized form of testing designed by the U.S. Military to accurately assess device limitations. Its redesigned health sensors push the internal charging coil further from the outer casing, making the watch incompatible with flat Qi chargers, older watch pucks, and direct phone reverse charging. You can still reverse-charge the watch using a Galaxy phone by plugging the in-box USB-C puck directly into the phone's port.
