I purchased Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 on 23rd April 2026. Just after one and a half month use the laptop screen has got cracks on left corner. Unfortunately I did not added Samsung Care option during the purchase as the Laptop was already very high priced. I don't understand how it has got the cracks the only thing I remember is I picked up closed lid Laptop with One hand from one side to the table to other. I am highly dissapointed with Samsung product quality considering the Laptop is of premium price. It has tarnished my image for Samsung as I have purchased many of its ecosystem products. I cannot easily afford the Laptop screen replacement as I know it would be very costly.

Ive had it for UNI and work and it runs ARC GIS pro and football manager decently and can handle most work based tasks flawlessly. Its not a gaming laptop its a very light portable workstation with an amazing display.

After years of using Samsung devices its time to find a new supplier, The screen is so delicate is defys use. I'm yet another one who has a suffered from a cracked screen with no damage to the laptop what so ever. Customer service are absolutely no help, and just copy and paste responses as below: (Apparently, they can confirm its no fault of their product from a photo) Thank you for attaching the photo of your laptop's screen. Upon validating the fault on your device there is a physical stress on the screen which caused the screen to be damaged, thus this will void the current warranty of your device for this specific repair and charges will apply. Please be advise that under the warranty policy of Samsung any dents, crack, liquid spill to your device will fall under category of damage and will not be covered by the manufacturing warranty. Physical stress means any external pressure, force, or bending applied to the display that causes damage. Laptop screens are thin and fragile, so even small pressure in the wrong spot can create cracks, especially hairline cracks

The product seems brilliant, but I've spent well over ninety minutes online trying to find and download the manual and trying to register the thing, eventually having spend a quarter of an hour on the phone. I did eventually find the manual - it took even longer, as finding the model number wasn't easy. Such data is not on the machine but on a tiny print non-detachable label on the side of the lid ... and which of the many strings is the model "number" isn't obvious. I've copied all the relevant stuff on the label into an email to myself for future use. Serial number too, which was hard to read even with a magnifying lens; the fourteen character string has over 38 thousand million permutations, ignoring changes of order. That's four or five times the human population of Earth. Anyway, I've now downloaded the manual (not easy either) as it's not in a standard format. But I still can't find how to register the new computer. After a good while on the web site I tried Google, phew: several possibilities from Samsung. From accessing a registration website, it took five minutes to get to the form. And start by having to enter the serial number - invalid!!! Back to the magnifying glass.... I hadn't made a mistake. So now I have to Contact Samsung... Has to be a non-free phone call ... adverts, taking ages, and at least three choice menus to get through - 3 minutes; phone eventually rang and was ignored. Trying again - eventually it turned out that the serial number on the label is missing a final X. Registration was then dead easy - but didn't need any personal details or the date of purchase. So will it work if I need it??? Beautiful machine - as it should be for over £1500. But I'll never feel the same about Samsung again .... Now to start studying the user guide!

My advice: don't buy. Like many others here - my screen cracked spontaneously, quite literally in front of my eyes and out of nowhere. It's never been dropped, had pressure put on it, and has barely left my desk. Never had so much as a scratch in over 20 laptops. This is a design or manufacturing fault. How Samsung can claim that they "don't know of any issues with the screens" is comical as there are literally thousands of postings on the internet about this with the current models, and most of the previous models, of Galaxy Book. The crack appeared in front of my eyes as I was typing on the laptop, with it on my desk. A large vertical crack, then this spread to several others and lots of smaller ones. Performance-wise - mediocre, takes ages to wake from sleep, poor palm rejection and inaccurate trackpad (I've had 3 so it's not just this specific one). Samsung - take note of this. I have always been a huge Samsung fan, and own the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Tab S9, Watch 8, Buds3 Pro, and was about to buy a Tab S11 Ultra which I have paused on. Either fix my laptop for free, or like others, you have lost me as a customer forever as this is just not acceptable.

Cracked Screen Spontaneous cracked screen, as noted by other users. Not covered under warranty but will be covered by the consumer rights act. You can't argue it's not a manufacturer design flaw with so many reviews saying the same thing. Also many Facebook pages about the same thing. Fix my screen FOC...... and maybe we'll sort it but until then all my Samsung goods are going in the bin. That's the phone, tv, watch and laptop

I love Samsung products and almost everything from Samsung but their laptops are not making it to the top 10. The PC is great- I must say that, but it have to be within the top 10 in the world. Please I want to be in the Galaxy ecosystem but the laptop is not making my ecosystem strong, I think they should work on their laptops as their phones are

I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Book Ultra 4 for about 10 months. While the overall performance is good- fast and smooth, but I wouldn’t recommend buying it. The main issue is the extremely fragile screen. Mine cracked just from a light touch, and after checking Samsung’s forums, I found many others reporting the same problem. Despite being under warranty, Samsung customer service refused to recognise it as a manufacturing fault, even though it clearly seems to be a common issue. Another downside is the charger, which is unnecessarily large and bulky for a modern ultrabook. Overall, it’s a powerful laptop held back by poor build quality and unhelpful support- not worth the premium price.

Great laptop, so fast at loading up and changing pages, screen colours are so vivid, and loads of memory. Good size, so light in weight, love the size of the screen. I like being able to connect my mobile so easy to it. I am so happy with it, the best laptop i have ever had.

Purchased on 15th Aug 2025 Screen broke on 25th Aug 2025 Touch Screen Broken in 10 days - cannot describe how shocked I am. after closing the laptop, it was a normal pickup from desk by 2 hands nothing else and nothing in middle of the screen which can break the screen. 20+ years working - after using top models from other vendor products top touch screen laptops with very high specifications in the market. I ordered this laptop for the first time to complete my Samsung echo system. laptop is thin and very good in looks but screen glass quality is bad or screen is touching the metal of keyboard area. defect in design. support is saying to have purchased Care+ within 3 days to cover this not it cannot be covered. 15 days and screen breaks really unacceptable for such an expensive laptop.

Great display memory convertibility processor and performance
I don’t love this laptop. Constant issues with display. The performance lags. Thought the mouse was at fault but it’s the overall laptop. I really thought this would be a good laptop. Technical support just want to reboot. Take it back please and give me a working Samsung laptop

The battery life is not all its made out to be but very usable. I think the battery life is calculated on the very lowest CPU settings with the screen brighness as low as possible. Connectivity is great. Machine of this price could do with a SIM slot or e-sim capability. Design is good and the machine is generally quite robust. Perfomance is not as quick as I expected. The changing of the screen orientation when you chnage use of the machine is very cluncky and unreliable. The 2 in 1 features make the machine very versatile. Great screen resolution.

The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 has an outstanding screen, solid construction, excellent backlit keyboard and performs consistently well. Battery life is good. Thanks to the Ultra 7 processor the laptop runs noticeably cooler than our previous laptops. Wi Fi connectivity has been rock solid. We have not used the 360 functionality but in laptop mode the hinges have been rigid enough to ensure the screen does not wobble at all in use. The S Pen works well with the touchscreen. All-in-all, this is the best Windows laptop we have owned.

Screen cracked with normal use after 6weeks. This is not covered by warrenty and Samsung want payment for a repair. There are many many similar complaints on the web, Samsung seem to filter this off reviews on this site. Samsung warranties are useless I had similar issue with a phone, will never buy another Samsung product again. To reiterate, the product has been used 3 times, after it was bought 6 weeks ago, screen cracked.

Any features on the laptop that include galaxy are unreliable. This include buds auto switching. This also has minimal upgrade from the last model and no faster charging.

This is an awesome laptop. The screen is top notch quality, very quiet, great sound, numeric pad, light as feather, I just love it. Ignore the other negative reviews, they obviously don't know how to use a Windows computer.
Burns through the battery when it's fully off. When you start it up from sleep mode it's super slow. The screen is great but rhe battery and the performance makes this not worth it.

The screen is a big issue. My 16" Book5 Pro screen spontaneously cracked sitting on my desk. Nothing was even touching it when it happened. Completely unexplainable. Possibly a thermal expansion issue from what I have read online. I just bought it new in December and it was only 4 months old. Still in immaculate condition, never dropped, bumped, or anything.

Honestly, this laptop is a disappointment. Even after upgrading to an Intel Core Ultra 7 and more RAM, it still lags on basic university websites like Canvas. It’s not even a month old, and it already feels unreliable.

Good performance, great display and battery but not strong and durable, I took a very nice care of it I bought a strong bag to keep it secure and I never experienced sudden falls or through but still for some reason the screen started cracking, this is my 5th month of using it and the screen has cracks may not strong enough.

This computer has great graphics quality, plenty of storage space for documents/videos/presentations, and has an impressive battery life. Can't ask for much more than that in a laptop.
This laptop is fantastic, and I scored it at an amazing price. The screen is gorgeous, the keyboard is comfortable to type on, and it’s nice and lightweight. It also works seamlessly with the Samsung ecosystem. That said, the S Pen isn’t as precise—which is a bit disappointing—as the iPad Pencil, which I really love.

Came out of the box extremely glitchy and inconsistent. Buttons are not working when pressed, very weird setup with Windows and Samsung. Samsung apps are very inconsistent on the device. Random settings activate when restarting the system, like the mouse cursor is huge and covering the screen, or different keystrokes pressed are not responding. Maybe it is a bad unit, but I am over having a new issue everyday. As I am typing this now, I am having issues with typing.

I do like this laptop. It's fast, stylish, and responsive. My two big issues with it: 1. Having two settings. Its a bit cumbersome to change Samsung setting and/or Windows setting separately. It would make more sense that Samsung settings live in the Windows OS app. 2. The function keys are not permanently locked. Having to turn the functions on/off is annoying when on Dell or HP, you simply turn the brightness up or down by hitting the key in the top section. With these laptops, I have to hit FN+F12 to then be able to simply adjust settings. Please fix Samsung!!

Le Galaxy Book Pro 360 est un ordinateur portable que j’apprécie énormément au quotidien. La suite logicielle Samsung est un vrai point fort : l’interaction entre le PC et le smartphone est fluide, intuitive et parfaitement intégrée. On sent clairement l’écosystème pensé pour fonctionner ensemble. L’écran est tout simplement incroyable : lumineux, précis, avec des couleurs magnifiques. Un vrai plaisir pour le travail créatif, le multimédia ou simplement la navigation. Autre point très appréciable : il est totalement silencieux, ce qui renforce le confort d’utilisation. La frappe du clavier est très agréable, confortable même sur de longues sessions, et le rétro-éclairage est bien dosé, pratique et élégant, aussi bien de jour que de nuit. Overall im happy wiht this device. There are some build quality defects but nothing that stopping the computer from working. I use this for schoola nd so lighter gaming. it handles Forza Horizon 5 every will even on high graphics. The OLED screen wiht native 120hrz is amazing fro just about anything. I do wish i could option this with the 32 gigs of ram but so far I haven't needed more than 16. Havign the option to flip the screen into tablet mode is nice to have. I do wish the Spen it came wiht was bluetooth. The pen is just kinda usless and the magnets to hold it arnt the strongest so it gets lost regularly. I got mine on sale but for that price I would have expected the build quality to be better. But what this thing packs inside makes up for most of it. After writting this is see that they now offer 32gigs of ram for the por 360. kinda annoyed at that, dont see why couldn't offer that from the beggining.

This is a fantastic laptop. I had the Pro 4 360 and bought an additional Pro 5 360. I love being part of the Samsung eco-universe, with all devices connected. I think I like it better than the 4. The touchscreen is great; I love the huge touchpad!!!. I wish Samsung 360 came with either more RAM or an upgradeable RAM, but it doesn't.

The screen won't turn on. It's the same thing that happened to the last one i purchased. So i purchased a new one because i couldn't wait for repair since i was traveling. As for this one, since it was still under warranty, I was able to send it back. The tech team said they have to delete everything and factory reset it. I can't get any work done because they are both not working. Depressed and crying!!!

My honest opinion is do not buy it unless you plan to use it as a desktop. The screens are week and apparently cannot stand up to normal everyday use as a . It runs smooth for the most part. Maybe a couple glitches in the HDMI here and there when running a samsung TV for a second monitor. Otherwise performance is fine. The screen however, not so much. As many others experienced, I randomly noticed a crack down my screen that eventually spread. The rest of the computer was pristine. I expected some pushback being physical damage, with no real way to show what caused it. Most likely the paper thin screen coupled, extremely thin and flimsy bezel, and the fact that the glass screen comes in direct contact with the metal (and any speck of dust, sand or debris) every time it closes. I had to battle samsung back and forth and start a BBB complaint before Samsung decided to fix it. Sadly this will be the last Samsung purchase I make. Dont make the same mistake with this computer until the screen issues are addressed.

This is my second Samsung laptop. It’s lightweight, durable and easier to work with. The 360 feature gives me the flexibility to turn it into a tablet and that makes the product usage feel worth having. The stylus pen also is a big bonus when using it as a tablet.

I bought this laptop because it was one of the first with the Lunar Lake processor. It was my first Samsung laptop and probably my last. While I was aware of the screen cracking issues, I chalked that up to possible early production batches and not something inherent in the design. However, the screen durability issues with this laptop are very real. Do not let the spec sheet fool you: while Samsung uses Corning Gorilla Glass, it ultimately doesn't matter. The laptop’s ultra-thin design—especially on the 16" lid—comes at a steep price. The lid lacks the structural rigidity to support the glass. Physics wins here; the frame flexes, and the screen is prone to cracking despite the premium materials. If you still insist on buying this machine, you must factor in the cost of Samsung Care+. Samsung will refuse to repair these stress cracks under standard warranty, and the out-of-pocket repair cost is almost as much as a new laptop. I cannot stress this enough: without Care+, you are on your own. Another major shortcoming is the Samsung app ecosystem hype. If you want to take full or even partial advantage, you need to have the apps run in the background, which takes a major hit on battery life. Even then, the apps feel half-baked. For example, if you want to use the AI abilities in Samsung Gallery, you are actually running a mirrored instance of your phone's app, not a native Windows process. You cannot even sync your photos or albums properly between your phone and laptop. Other disappointments for a "Pro" laptop include a finicky fingerprint reader, the absence of a Num Lock indicator, and marginal palm rejection on the oversized touchpad which leads to constant accidental clicks. Verdict: As a lifelong Samsung phone user (Samsung Galaxy S), I wanted to love this. Yes, the screen is beautiful and lives up to the hype. However, I am disappointed in their flagship laptop. My advice? Skip this model. Look for a brand that primarily focuses on computers, where the competitive focus is on durability and loyalty rather than just making the thinnest laptop possible.

Pour le moment, je suis un peu déçu. Pas mal de bug, parfois c'est assez long pour pas grand chose. Certains logiciels ne veulent pas s'installer ou alors charge dans le vide pendant plus de 40 min puis crash. Dommage, parce que c'est un beau produit. Après ça fonctionne très bien pour la majorité des choses mais ces petits couacs ne devraient pas survenir au vu du prix

je possède cet ordinateur depuis quelques moi, il répond a mes besoin pour la majorité de ses fonctions. mais il y a des problèmes avec le capteur biométrique. il fonctionne vraiment très mal ou fonctionne par intermittence. je trouve cela très décevante pour ce type d'ordinateur. En revanche avec mon téléphone fold6 et le pc c'est vraiment bien pour les différente connexion entre les appareils.

I recently started using the Galaxy Book5, and so far it’s exceeded my expectations. From multitasking to everyday work and casual use, it handles everything smoothly. The 15.6″ Full HD screen is bright and easy on the eyes — ideal for work,streaming or browsing. I highly recommend it

I have owned tablets and laptops of varying screen sizes and I found the 16' to be perfect. The versatility of the Book5 Pro 360 is impressive. You want a laptop? No problem, you got one. You want a tablet? No problem. Just flip the screen all the way over and you got one. The screen is bright and very clear. The body of the device itself is tough and sturdy. Definitely an absolute great buy! Love it!

Beau design, mais des promesses non tenues. Souvent des bugs qui m'obligent à redémarrer (mais c'est peut-être dû à Windows 11) L'écran ne pivote pas pour fonctionner en mode tablette

J’ai acheté ce produit pour mes études et j’en suis ravie ! Très pratique pour taper comme un ordinateur mais également pour écrire ou dessiner avec le stylet, étant en études de sciences cette fonctionnalité était essentielle pour moi. Il rentre bien dans le sac de cours et n’est pas trop lourd.

I haven't used many of the new features. However, in the past, I've networked my PC's to make datat transfer/sharing easier. I've run into relentless problems trying to do this with this laptop when it keeps asking to enter credentials to join other PC's. Other PC's also are asking for credentials. I've never had this problem in the past. I finally found 3 commands entered from the power shell which solved the problem of the Pro 360 asking for credentials. Overall, so far, I'm quite happy with the speed and performance of this machine.
Étant en étudiant en droit de droit de première année, j’ai fait le choix de prendre ce magnifique PC, pour pouvoir réaliser de nombreuses tâches polyvalentes et réaliser de nombreuses missions avec mon travail personnel. La prise en main a été rapide puisque que le PC m’a été recommandé par un membre de ma famille. La fluidité de l’écran rend le travail plus facile, le traitement de texte est super, et les nouvelles fonctionnalités d’IA ou encore de « prévisions » ont été très utiles pour le travail. Le fait que le PC soit en 360, donne aussi un grand avantage pour le travail, et même pour regarder un film, ce PC sera parfait ! Le stylet ou encore les écouteurs Samsung sont une valeur sûre ! Mais attention à une chose, il faut régulièrement nettoyer ce PC si vous en avez un usage quotidien, ce qui est indispensable évidemment, mais assez pénible tout de même.

Pour l’instant, l’ordinateur est toujours en vie. Il n’est pas abîmé et le design est correct. Juste, quand je l’utilise comme une tablette géante (en gros seulement l’écran), il peut arriver que l’ordinateur sélectionne un élément alors que je n’ai pas touché l’écran. Par exemple, sur Edge, je voyais la croix en haut à droite s’allumer en rouge sans raison et même fermer la page carrément. Dans l’ensemble, ça va puisque ce bug se produit seulement sur Edge.

Globalement, cet ordinateur présente d'excellentes caractéristiques, notamment un écran de qualité supérieure, un design élégant et une bonne conectivité , ainsi que des performances satisfaisantes. Il est regrettable que la version avec 32 Go de RAM ne soit pas disponible, car bien que la RAM soudée favorise l'efficacité énergétique et la vitesse, elle limite les options de capacité. Ce type d'ordinateur gagnerait à proposer une configuration avec 32 Go de RAM pour optimiser son potentiel. Néanmoins, il s'agit d'un excellent produit qui conviendra parfaitement aux professionnels et aux amateurs de montage vidéo, de retouche photo, etc. En revanche, il est moins adapté au gaming. Des essais avec Call of Duty en 1080p et paramètres faibles ont révélé des difficultés, malgré les 8 Go de VRAM, en raison d'une puissance limitée. Cependant, ce produit n'est pas conçu pour cet usage et pour le monde "PRO" et videaste est vraiment incroyable.

I bought this for school. Really enjoy doing anything here literally, glad it has a pen too so that i can study there before exams and most importantly, draw! I still haven't drawn on here yet even tho i bought in jan 25 lmao. But still best laptop i have ever seen in this life lol. Btw are the browsers protected from viruses and stuff or do i need anti virus cuz it's a windows laptop? Does samsung provide anything like macs?
