Bought the A56 5g to upgrade from an A53 5g and am generally happy with the phone so far. Not many differences which is fine by me. However am very annoyed by the Messages app change! There is no way of assigning a separate notification to the Messages app which is very annoying! I can either have a small ping, which is good for other notifications like emails, or a loud one which I like for Messages but can't stand that going off every time I get an email!! I now keep missing messages because I can't hear it when the phone is in my handbag. Surely this is a total oversight on Samsung's part as it is a big step back and needs rectifying!!!!! Am very disappointed 😞

I upgraded from a Samsung A52 and there is no comparison. The build, feel of quality are worlds apart. So simple to transfer all data and apps, and the first time you start up you will see the difference. Great phone at a great price! I have Enterprise Edition, got it for £299. Can't imagine any reason to pay more if you are happy with a mid range that is fantastic.

Display decent size. Camera worka. No SD card makes it vastly inferior to earlier models. Gemini app will not ho away. Listens to everything yhats said and chips in with nonsense during meetings and diacussion. Evem when disabled and closed down. Cannot uninstall. Altogether disappointing. A 34 was better.

A nice phone and so much quicker than my old one. In transferring all the data none of my one-off diary appointments transferred, only the repeating ones. Make sure you have a paper backup!!

After having owned 3 Z Flips, I was dubious about buying a 'normal' straight, no flip mobile, and after reviewing the fleet of Samsung, I chose the A56, particularly for the camera, because it was not an extortionate price, and the functions on the A56 were what I was looking for, quality at a fair price, and indeed it has not disappointed, and the camera is fantastic. If you want a mid top range mobile, without emptying your wallet, this is the phone to buy, thoroughly impressed.

Really disappointed that the new Samsung A56 5g does not have an SD card slot. Unfortunately I found this out too late and now I'm stuck with it. I have all my pics stuck on an SD card on my old phone and the internal memory is not big enough on this phone. Just for the record - I do not want to use cloud base services

A little bit on the expensive side and bought it as a replacement for my Samsung A52S. Battery life is good; good quality photos and video (4K); smooth display operation and decent sound quality from its stereo speakers. On the negative side; no SD card option and no headphone socket.

I bought this a little under a month ago now and it's just brilliant. The battery lasts me all day. The camera is clear and the quality is great. I've no problems with the connectivity of the phone, it's easy and fast. The display of the phone is perfect and the performance is very smooth!

Pleased with the performance of my samsung A56 5g, faster than my previous A32 5g, would have preferred a finger print sensor on the side of the phone like previous models, and disapointed that there's no memory card slot. This model was reduced by £50 a week after purchase.

The phone is sturdy, large and the screen quality is exceptional. Photo quality is very good, battery life excellent and the huge amount of storage will keep you from running out any time soon. It loses a star because of two things however: 1. I don't understand why modern phones have done away with headphone jacks. I get that most headphones are wireless these days, but it would be nice to at least have the option - not everything needs to be powered. 2. Dark mode is enabled by default and turning off dark mode is no longer available in the quick settings menu that you access by scrolling down from the top - you now have to go into the full settings menu to change it. It's not just irritating, it feels like they're trying to force dark mode on you, by removing the quick option to change it. I'm also removing a star for value for money since I bought the phone a week ago and now they're offering £100 off which I didn't get! Obviously this makes it better value for money for you, but not so much for me haha

Finally upgaded my old samsung mobile for a newer model. The A56 5G is a wonderful piece of equipment, the battery seems to last so long and the photos takenare to such a high standard. Very easy to use apps and display at all light levels. Very fast and feels so sturdy.

I love the monile the only thing i dont like is that the camera sticks out at the back so the phone wobbles when i put it down, but ive bought a new cover for it and it has taken care of that, the photos are sharp the signal is good, overall very happy.

I bought this as an upgrade to my old galaxy A33 and really pleased with it. Easy to move all my apps etc. Has a good camera for my needs with some extra AI bits so pleased with that. Has excellent battery life and connections and performances. Overall I would recommend this phone.

The Galaxy A56 was faulty -- something wrong with the screen. I had paid for a higher amount of data, but I got half of that. I am returning the device to you. However, you are charging around £75 for returning a faulty and the wrong device. This is outrageous. I consider my Samsung experience on of the worst I have had in a long time.
