The Galaxy Store works alongside the Google Play Store in a complementary way rather than a competitive way, and it provides a curated selection of apps that are specifically optimised for Galaxy hardware. It is the only source for Galaxy apps, whilst the Play Store offers a wider variety that is available for all brands of Android smartphones.
