                  After years of watching the Fold line, this is the one that convinced me to switch. The new wider shape is the game changer — closed, it feels like a normal phone you can actually type on one-handed, and opened up it's a proper mini tablet. The crease is barely noticeable now, which surprised me the most. Performance is effortless, the battery genuinely lasts me a full day of heavy use, and split-screen multitasking has changed how I work on the go — reviewing documents and email side by side is brilliant. Cameras are sharp in daylight, and the whole device feels lighter and more refined than I expected. Easily the best phone I've owned. Highly recommended.

It's my 1st folding Samsung after having several Samsung Galaxy phones before this and I was impressed with he flip screen. My main issue with this phone is that my Garmin will now not pair to this phone despite 4 hours of doing a vast number of suggested actions to try to pair the two devices. My previous phone had no issues at all and as a daily cyclist this is a huge blow for me when spending this amount of money on a device. I would research Garmin connectivity online before buying any phone to avoid having this problem, I'm sure a quick search will help highlight the devices to avoid, unfortunately I didn't expect to have to do this kind of research on a new Samsung.

The design is beautiful, compact, and feels much more premium in the hand than I expected the folding experience is smooth, the display looks fantastic, and the phone feels fast and responsive in everyday use. What I especially love is how practical it is you get a full flagship smartphone that can fold down into such a small and stylish form factor the cameras, performance, screen quality, and overall software experience make it feel like a real upgrade. Samsung really nailed the combination of style, innovation, and everyday usability with the Z Flip8. So far, I’m very happy with my purchase and excited to keep using it! It all happened when I bought my wife are Galazy S26 ultra, I was looking fold with good battery life and the durability also with display and some like Zfold came up on Google that samsung is speculating on this. And I told my self no matter the time I will wait and on my membership samsung a notification came up for me to pick what I like, I selected mobile, electronic as my favourite because I look samsung product my washing machine is samsung, I also use galaxy S25 before I traded it in for Z fold 8 ultra and I also wish to change my TV to samsung too. Honestly I wasn't disappointed with my expectations on the phone, I so much love the phone along with the features it has.

When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

I started to miss the bigger screen. I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.

The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. This has been by far the best one!

The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

The folding mechanism seems more sturdy, the crease on the inner screen is basically non-existent during typical usage, and the phone is so light! It's amazing that this is so much more improved than other folding phones while being so slim and nice to hold and easy to read. I've been putting it through its paces with gaming a lot as well, and the battery has held strong and barely drains compared to previous models. This is a seriously good phone, and if you enjoyed previous folding phones - you'll love this one.

The battery easily gets me through the day, even when I am doom‑scrolling or multitasking. It doesn’t panic at 20% the way some phones do and would just keeps going like it’s got something to prove. The main screen is gorgeous. Bright, sharp, and big enough that I sometimes forget it is still technically a phone. The crease is there, but it’s more like a faint wrinkle than a dramatic fold and feels like nothing that ruins the experience. The hinge feels solid and smooth. Opening and closing it is oddly satisfying, and it does not wobble or feel fragile. It seem sturdy enough that I am no longer opening it like I am handling a newborn This phone is fast and responsive. Applications open instantly, multitasking is effortless, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes everything feel snappy. It handles my chaotic switching between apps without breaking a sweat. I would say, overall, it is a powerhouse with a personality and easily one of the most fun devices I have used in a while. I would not be commenting on durability at this early stage

I bought the Ultra anyway, and after a few weeks I'd do it again. At 4.1mm unfolded it's the thinnest foldable Samsung has made, and it no longer feels like a compromise device you carry for the novelty. The 8-inch inner display is genuinely the reason to own this thing — reading, email, side-by-side work, all of it stops feeling like a phone. The 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery finally lasts a full day without negotiation, which previous Folds never managed for me. The base Fold 8 is the smarter buy. The Ultra is the better phone.

                  The new battery clearly has better life throughout the whole day with wifi and 5G switching on and off. I love the new feel of the hinge closing and ease of unfolding the device. I like the new Carbon Magnet cover also, long awaited move by samsung. Waiting for a better camera next year.

I wasn't sure if the upgrade would be worth it, but despite how incremental it is, it makes for a far more complete device! The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

                  I recently upgraded from the Motorola RAZR plus 2024 and I've got to say, while having a similar look and feel, the overall experience is mind boggingly different. From the extra half centimetre of width to the customization, cohesiveness and ease of the Samsung family. Truly a beautiful product inside and out. The camera is amazing, the display feels ingrained and like that of a regular no flip phone. I can't attest to the durability as it is protected like fort Knox on a bad day. Battery is ok from what I've experienced so far but I assume it will get better as it learns my usage patterns.

                  I bought z flip 8 a week ago and it is one of the best choices I’ve ever made, not gonna lie I found it slightly difficult to change from an ios to android but I am surprised that it was better than I expected, I got used to it so quickly. I liked the back camera but the front camera isn’t great like the back one, also u may feel some heat in the cover screen after using the phone for a while. The battery also lasts for a long time. The crease is not obvious when you open it which is a good sign. Overall it is best choice I’ve made.

                  The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra honestly feels like the first foldable where Samsung finally stopped making compromises. Unfolding it is a total treat the inner crease is practically invisible now, and both screens get so ridiculously bright that you can actually use it outside in bright sunlight without squinting. It's surprisingly thin and comfortable to hold, but what really blew me away was the battery life; it actually lasts through a full, heavy day without me needing to hunt for a charger. Throw in a super snappy processor and a 200MP camera that takes incredible shots, and it easily earns its spot as the best phone I've ever used for multitasking and gaming.

The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

                  I love the Fold 8 Ultra. Feels so premium. Its a big difference when upgraded from Fold 6. Such a productive device. Wish they had the s pen capabilities as well. Battery holds up pretty good. And love the new hing and display. Non reflective inner display is so good. New hinge gives you that confident on its durability. Fyi: phone may take couple days to look into the pattern of your lifestyle to analyse the battery usage,so the performance may be slow for that tine period. Once the analysis is completed, its super responsive and perform pretty. Super excited with this one.

The Z Fold 8 Ultra is so extremely thin that its just the size of a normal phone when folded, and unfolded becomes extremely easy to hold. Even with the thin body, Samsung did not skimp out on battery size or the processor speed. It has one of the longest battery lives I've had on a phone in a while. The anti reflective coating on the inner display makes it so easy to view in harsh outdoor lighting too. If you're on the edge of whether the ultra model is worth it, I'd say go for it.

                  I have the z fold 8 ultra and the feelings of the device is what stands out to me. It feels more complete, it's hard to describe. The battery life is about the same as my previous z fold 7 and that is disappointing. But I just like the feel of the 8 over the 7. The galaxy watch ultra 2 is beautiful and presents as elegant with a side of rugged. Again the batterybis somewhat disappointing but what can be perfect. Would I recommend the new Samsung tech, Yes!!! What comes next for the 9 will be interesting as what changes can be made to a device that is almost perfect. Samsung needs to reward it's loyal clients. I have had all the folds and it would be nice to receive some kind of recognition for loyalty. Great product, great feel, good value.

The 7 was an exciting unit and the camera was a vast improvement and I really like the larger closed format. I knew rhe Fold 8 Ultra was physically rhe same size and I was expecting that. Technically it was again a superior phone and rhe Thinner format factor and vastly improved camera were very welcome. I am a serious technology user and utilise to rhe fullest the multitasking and brilliant open screen. Well done. I was hoping for a much improved battery life over the Fold 7 as I'm on rhe unit more or less 10 - 12 hours a day and do appreciate the Fold 8s increased battery capabilities and make full use of the fast charging.

Fast,smooth and just a work of art and craftsmanship. Sometimes I feel it's a bit delicate compared to a single brick style but I guess I'm just getting used to it. Pick a good quality case as it does put your mind at rest on the protection front. Battery life seems s goods as my S23 even using it unfolded. The hinge is reassuringly positive on open and shutting, just remember if you rotate it while watching something you remember as trying to shut it the wrong way could damage it.

The battery capacity is even better. The screen feels good. Features are better. Now for my zfold 5 it withstanded very harsh use and is still functioning. The new fold 8 ultra seems to do the same in terms of durability as it is thin and a better hinge mechanism. Responsiveness is also good on the new device.

It appeared as a sharp contrast, like monochrome, in some areas of the main and cover display. It felt as though the cable transmitted this glitch, resembling the way a disease spreads. This glitch, resembling the cable, much like a disease, spread from one phone to another. I attempted to restart both phones, but that did not resolve the issue. I was only able to eliminate the glitches from both devices before performing a factory reset. Overall the phone is satisfactory for 5000 mAh battery support.

                  I bought galaxy Zfold 8 ultra 256 GB and the performance is excellent you know the shape is excellent it's really slim and smart and it's easy usable and I know from the last 3 to 4 days I'm really excited about my phone and I'm checking all the features again and again and it's really something which galaxy had work on specifically on the shape and the performance is out class.

                  I was honestly skeptical to upgrade, but the Z Fold 8 completely changed my mind. When it is closed, it actually feels like a normal phone. It is light, comfortable to type on, and easy to slide into a pocket. Opening it up to that huge screen never gets old, and the ugly crease from older models is pretty much gone. The battery easily gets me through a full day without stressing, and it just makes everyday stuff feel effortless. Everything feels snappy and responsive, and the screens are incredibly bright even when I am outside in direct sunlight. It feels sturdy and well-built too.                   I got the Pistachio color on the Fold 8 and it is low-key gorgeous i cannot get over how clean it looks. The hinge is super buttery and feels rock solid, and while the cameras are honestly kind of mid for what you pay, I didn’t get this phone for photos anyway. I got it strictly for media consumption, and for watching videos and movies, the screen size and setup make it an absolute 10/10.

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is the refined evolution of Samsung’s flagship foldable and it builds on the already-impressive Fold7 with meaningful upgrades in display quality, hinge feel, and everyday handling. The 8-inch main Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is the star. It's noticeably brighter and Samsung added an anti-reflective coating. Colors pop and look more vivid both indoors and in sunlight. Outdoor legibility is noticeably better, we've had a lot of sun here recently and it's been incredibly difficult to see my old Z Fold 7 outside and this is a much welcome improvement. The cover screen is improved as well and makes outdoor use a lot easier even with the darkened privacy screen protector in place. The Armor FlexHinge feels more refined and confidence-inspiring than my Fold 7. Opening and closing is smoother and more controlled, with a satisfying, solid action rather than any sense of looseness or play. I'm not sure what they have done to improve It specifically but it feels so much better than my Fold 7. It opens cleanly, holds positions securely, and gives the impression of a well-engineered hinge built for long-term daily folding. Time will tell how it stands up. Compared with my Fold 7, the Fold 8 Ultra is a touch thinner when unfolded and combined with the refined hinge and overall packaging, makes the phone feel noticeably lighter and more premium in the hand. When folded it remains compact and pocketable; when open it still delivers the expansive tablet-like experience without the bulk that the earlier models had. The difference is subtle on paper when looking at the specs and measurements of the devices side by side but tangible in daily use—especially if you’re coming from the Fold 7 like me or earlier models. I cannot attest much to the battery life yet as I haven't fully tested it yet with apps running in the background and general daily use when compared to heavy use. What I have noticed so far is that it doesn't seem to drain as much when I'm using apps like YouTube or Spotify for extended periods. The Z Fold 8 Ultra prioritizes polish over radical redesign. The brighter, more vivid screens, smoother and sturdier folding action, and marginally thinner/lighter feel make it the most refined traditional book-style Fold yet. It remains an expensive, high-end device aimed at users who want maximum productivity and immersion in a foldable form and (for me at least) it delivers clear improvements. If you’re upgrading from a Fold 7 or an older model, the gains in display visibility and everyday handling are the most immediately noticeable benefits.

The display is brighter which is very good .The camera was awesome ,my wife used it for her tiktok videos and immediately noticed the huge difference with her iPhone 17. The videos were amazing .The battery life should be good as I have not charged it since after the unboxing.The screen is better now and looks stronger,and would last longer ,removing the hinge made a huge difference.Secondly ,the screen responds to the thinnest touch and the response is faster. I am not happy for missing out again on the Samsung gifts .Last year I got the fold 7 early and later Samsung gave out gifts for buying the fold 7,once again I ordered and there are no gifts now ,most certainly I will miss out once again which is not fair to me as an ardent Samsung fold fan.
