When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My last fold was the Z Fold 3. I switched back to the S series as the Fold was a bit lacking in some specs. I started to miss the bigger screen. I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.

The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. This has been by far the best one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra 1TB is honestly a really nice phone. The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

The battery lasts so much longer not having to make sure its fully charged in the evening and still easily making it through the day. Dispaly is so much crisper and brighter. The hinge is smoother and so much easier to open and close. Honestly was worth the wait and unsure how it could be topped. Highly recommend

The folding mechanism seems more sturdy, the crease on the inner screen is basically non-existent during typical usage, and the phone is so light! It's amazing that this is so much more improved than other folding phones while being so slim and nice to hold and easy to read. I've been putting it through its paces with gaming a lot as well, and the battery has held strong and barely drains compared to previous models. This is a seriously good phone, and if you enjoyed previous folding phones - you'll love this one.

I’ve been extremely impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. What stands out most is how Samsung managed to give it such a large, beautiful folding display while keeping the phone surprisingly thin and light. It feels much more comfortable to carry and use than I expected from a foldable with this much screen space. The inner display is easily my favourite feature. Once unfolded, it feels like having a small tablet in my pocket. Reading websites, checking emails, viewing photos and videos, and working with documents are all much more enjoyable on the larger screen. Multitasking is also excellent. Being able to have multiple apps open at the same time makes the Fold especially useful for productivity. I can check an email while looking at another app, browse the web while taking notes, or move between tasks without constantly switching back and forth. I also really appreciate that I can use the outer screen like a regular smartphone when I just need to do something quickly, then unfold it whenever I want the extra space. It gives me the best of both a phone and a tablet in one device. The combination of the large folding display, thinner and lighter design, and excellent multitasking has made the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra one of the most enjoyable smartphones I’ve used. Samsung has done an excellent job refining the foldable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a premium phone with a much bigger screen when they need it.

At 4.1mm unfolded it's the thinnest foldable Samsung has made, and it no longer feels like a compromise device you carry for the novelty. The 8-inch inner display is genuinely the reason to own this thing — reading, email, side-by-side work, all of it stops feeling like a phone. The 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery finally lasts a full day without negotiation, which previous Folds never managed for me. The base Fold 8 is the smarter buy. The Ultra is the better phone.

The main screen is gorgeous. Bright, sharp, and big enough that I sometimes forget it is still technically a phone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came from the Fold7. I wasn't sure if the upgrade would be worth it, but despite how incremental it is, it makes for a far more complete device! The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

I recently upgraded from the Motorola RAZR plus 2024 and I've got to say, while having a similar look and feel, the overall experience is mind boggingly different. From the extra half centimetre of width to the customization, cohesiveness and ease of the Samsung family. Truly a beautiful product inside and out. The camera is amazing, the display feels ingrained and like that of a regular no flip phone. I can't attest to the durability as it is protected like fort Knox on a bad day. Battery is ok from what I've experienced so far but I assume it will get better as it learns my usage patterns.

The new battery clearly has better life throughout the whole day with wifi and 5G switching on and off. I love the new feel of the hinge closing and ease of unfolding the device. I like the new Carbon Magnet cover also, long awaited move by samsung. Waiting for a better camera next year.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra honestly feels like the first foldable where Samsung finally stopped making compromises. Unfolding it is a total treat the inner crease is practically invisible now, and both screens get so ridiculously bright that you can actually use it outside in bright sunlight without squinting. It's surprisingly thin and comfortable to hold, but what really blew me away was the battery life; it actually lasts through a full, heavy day without me needing to hunt for a charger. Throw in a super snappy processor and a 200MP camera that takes incredible shots, and it easily earns its spot as the best phone I've ever used for multitasking and gaming.

I bought z flip 8 a week ago and it is one of the best choices I’ve ever made, not gonna lie I found it slightly difficult to change from an ios to android but I am surprised that it was better than I expected, I got used to it so quickly. I liked the back camera but the front camera isn’t great like the back one, also u may feel some heat in the cover screen after using the phone for a while. The battery also lasts for a long time. The crease is not obvious when you open it which is a good sign. Overall it is best choice I’ve made.

I love the Fold 8 Ultra. Feels so premium. Its a big difference when upgraded from Fold 6. Such a productive device. Wish they had the s pen capabilities as well. Battery holds up pretty good. And love the new hing and display. Non reflective inner display is so good. New hinge gives you that confident on its durability. Fyi: phone may take couple days to look into the pattern of your lifestyle to analyse the battery usage,so the performance may be slow for that tine period. Once the analysis is completed, its super responsive and perform pretty. Super excited with this one.

So far I'm happy with it, the crease has improved a lot and watching or playing on the unfolded screen is enjoyable. Quality seems low on facebook and instagram folded and unfolded but it seemed to have fixed itself through an update of the apps themselves. The camera bump at the back is probably my only issue, its thickness is more than the phone body itself hopefully a case will fix it when i can find one.

The thing i really love for tge Z fold 8 ultra is its display. 8.0 screen plus naka 3000 nits na so mas ma enjoy mo siya ma use even your outside and direct sunlight. Plus wala na siyang glare from mga lights. Hindi na nagrereflect.Hindi nadin halata ang crease niya as in parang wala na talaga. Mas smooth na gamitin specially kong e unfold mo. Mas mataas ang durability level nito kasi mas matibay na yong flex hinge nya, mas may peace of mind ka na while using the device.. Very responsive with its 120hz. Plus naka 5000mah na yong battery. With 30mims. naka 65% kana din nang battery so less waiting time sa pag charge.
