The battery last for two days which is incredible and the whole devise feel so durable and well made. I have a three year contract and feel totally confident this device will last. The operating system is perfect and has amazing responsiveness. It truly is a joy to own and use. Love the large screen when I'm searching online and the front is great for everyday use.                   I have just received my pistachio Z fold 8 I can say it is my perfect match The outer screen size is perfect not large and not small just perfect The inner display is phenomenal crisp and clear I can easily handle my daily tasks from reading mails and taking notes The crease is now reduced u can only notice it in certain angels The hinge closure and opening is so good The materials looks durable and catchy The touch screen response is perfect no typos I believe they enhanced the calibration. The battery also has significant improvement over my latest S25 phone it survive the day easily I used the main camera it is very good and selfie is also good.

                  I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and, honestly, I’m really impressed. The big screen is the main reason I bought it, and it genuinely makes a difference for emails, reading, maps and watching videos. It’s also surprisingly good for multitasking. It’s not perfect though. It’s still quite bulky when folded, and the price is hard to ignore. The battery is decent rather than amazing, especially with heavy use. That said, it feels much more practical than I expected from a foldable. The build quality is excellent and I actually find myself using the inner screen rather than just treating it as a gimmick. Overall, I’m very happy with it. Expensive, yes, but for me it’s been worth the upgrade.

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Samsung nailed it with the Fold8, the size, the hinge mechanism, the screen viewing ration when folded and unfolded, it is impressive and once you get used to it you can't go back to normal phones. Battery capacity is huge and certainly lasts for a full day with constant usage, and the phone form factor is durable but worth investing in a rugged cased to protect such massive investment. Screen is bright and very responsive when folded and unfolded, really love watching videos on this phone, and more importantly choose the right case that support vertical kickstand (not just horizontal) to be sure you are most enjoying the screen view.

                  Received on day one of shipping. Great phone and quality i expect from Samsung but poor camera location design. I get the possible location is probably limited but the raised design makes it impossible to type or do anything really laid flat. Would suggest also getting some sort of protection for the lenses as it's pretty much the first thing that will hit any surface and most likely get scratched or damaged easily

In fact if you never open it it is still an awesome device. It just gets even better when you open it to view your media consumption as you wish. The battery life will keep going all day even with heavy use. Ive not tried to push it to the max but i am yet to come up against any issue where responsiveness is concerned. Obviously the device comes with a price tag; but so far it is worth every penny and ive not gone anywhere near its potential

The thinner, lighter design compared with other Fold devices makes for a more user friendly experience whilst still offering the front screen as a quick use tool and the larger fold screen as a small tablet all in one. Ive put a 360 case on it as i will drop it and this is still no thicker than the average phone in a case. Battery so far is more than i need for heavy daily use and the speed and response is exceptional. The fold mech is strong and durable, holds firmly closed until openeded and snaps closed when finished. Best Samsung phone to date.

The passport type shape is really appealing to me and its been a dream to consume content on. The device is very responsive and I havent had any kind of slowdowns at all, everything is instant and smooth. The battery life is really good too! I like the new si-c battery, it lasts ages and I havent had any issues with it at all- plus it keeps the device sleek and thin. The device itself feels very sturdy, it's well made and I have no concerns of it breaking. The hinge feels very snappy and premium and I havent had any issues with it at all.

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from the Pixel foldables, I'm enjoying the light weight, thinness and compactness of the Z Fold8. Unfortunately you do have to deal with the multiple versions of the same apps and Samsung's take on them. For example you need to use the Samsung clock app to use the sleep schedule as a condition for Routines, even if the Google clock app has the same sleep schedule. The friction between the two worlds is not the best for the end user, battling to turn off Samsung Wallet quick access gestures and settings up Google Wallet instead as another example. There's also lots of useful settings not enabled by default, and a tonne of non useful stuff which is battling for attention. The hardware however speaks for itself and it sparks genuine joy to use.

The size is perfect, it fits into your hand and looks right. Then you open it up and it transforms, pictures, video and books just fit the this screen ratio. The hinge works better than the Fold 7, opening easier and snaps open. The crease I have forgotten about. I didn't notice it on the Fold 7, but the screen is so much better. I never thought the Fold 7 was a slouch but the 8 seems so much more smoother and responsive. One UI 9 has some great improvements and the integration with the AI makes tasks and work flow so much easier.

The Display is fantastic and extremely clear. The Hinge in the fold is very strong but not to stiff and is easy to open. I have my Battery set to 80 percent but everyday use, it doesn't drop below 50 percent, which is miles better than my S24. This isn't a Flimsy phone, it's quite robust and feels very strong in your hand. Searching through apps, it's really quick and very responsive and you can have multiple pages and apps open at the same time. This is a great upgrade from my S24, glad I got one. You won't be disappointed 😉

                  At just 201g, it's the lightest book-style foldable yet and feels much more pocketable. Folded: Wide and compact like a passport — the 5.5-inch cover screen is way more usable one-handed for texting, scrolling, and quick tasks. Unfolded: The 7.6-inch inner screen has a near 4:3 ratio that's excellent for videos, YouTube, Netflix, and browsing with fewer black bars. The crease is much less noticeable thanks to new Flex Titanium tech, and the hinge feels solid. It’s fun to open and close. Some people might still find the thickness or sharp corners slightly awkward in tight pockets, but overall it's a huge improvement in everyday comfort.

The larger FlexWindow is much more useful now—I can reply to messages, check notifications, and use apps without opening the phone.                   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

The front screen on the fold8 is perfect for 90% of use. I do multitasking on once open and it does it perfectly with 2 apps open. Only gripe I have is on apps like instagram, it doesn't respond well with me hitting the bookmark button or other types of buttons on other apps where the function sits on the far right of the screen, I believe it's a glitch for the wider format for the front screen. I assume this can be fixed with an update 🙏 other than that - perfect device. Sturdy and feels great.

                  Been loving my Galaxy Flip since the first edition and upgrading it every year. Didn't expect to say this but after experiencing the Fold8 hands-on, it seems it's time to switch it up. Much slimmer and lighter than I expected, sitting super well in one hand. The real magic was unfolding it (unexpectedly I do appreciate that extra screen space) which made my little scroll through my favourite dog content so much better. Always loved how the Flex Mode on my Flip made every selfie session with my niece and dog so much more fun (and stable) by using the main camera and outside screen and now with the Fold8 camera... chef's kiss :)

Fits great in jeans pockets and the right size to do everything on the go right on the cover screen. Fold 8 open 😜 and its like a kindle size device. Super comfortable to hold, genuinely the perfect size for other tasks that require more attention. The display quality is fantastic So far. The battery life is great. I've had it 4 days now and only charged it twice. I can't comment on durabilty just yet as ive not had it long enough but It eems solid. Its a fast a very responsive little unit and feels very rugged at the hinge compared to other folds/flips i have had

And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

The hinge is smooth and firm enough that you need a bit of force to open or close the phone which is good becuase you dont want a floppy phone. It feels very strong as in durable, i wouldn't personally test dropping the phone but im confident it can survive decent heights. The battery lasts me all day and charges very fast, faster than the fold 7. The inner and outer screens are both great, i primarily use the inner screen and I'm well pleased with it. The phone is very responsive when it comes to any task.

I wasn't sure I would like this phone when I pre-ordered, my doubts were gone in the first hour it is so much fun, the camera is great and using it open makes it a lot better, battery lasts a long time, I love the finger print reader is on the side and not on the screen. If you are on the fence try it, you won't regret it. The hinges are great and no visible line on the screen when open. The speed is great and it is not as fragile as you think so I think it will last before I need to upgrade.

The Fold8 makes life much easier: - small, thin and lightweight: it easily fits in a jeans pocket - great for watching YouTube and reading books - the hinge is less visible than on my wife’s Flip6 - the standing case is excellent for hands-free content viewing It’s not ideal, though: - the camera is visibly worse than on the S26 Ultra - some apps cut off content because of the folded display’s unusual width - it looks fragile and might be very expensive to repair after a fall

Fabulous display wider than a normal handheld which in my view gives your eyes more to see and easier to operate. Coming from a z fold 7 this phone as come on leaps and bounds, longer battery time, brilliant display and a very responsive operating system in the Android 17 with UI 9. Stunning build quality with a far better hinge. This phone is a keeper for me and I am confident it's durability will last for all of the updates. Outstanding specs, and without doubt Samsung's best phone yet. They will sell millions of these no problem.

But, it is still lacking a few essential things, as it doesn't have magnetic wireless charging capability despite the fact it doesn't have a pen like the Ultra that apparently is the cause for not introducing this feature in the first place, it is not coming with a a screen protector for the external display as it used to, no ultra fast charger in the box as the old chargers are not ultra fast charging but barely 10-15 W, the battery doesn't last more than the previous models or any S models. Overall it is not worth the full price but if you can get a good discount then it is a good purchase.

                  I bought this a month ago and am so happy that I did. The battery life is incredible and easily gets me through a full day of heavy use. I am especially impressed by the screen's brightness, which makes it perfectly clear to read even outside under direct sunlight.The build quality feels premium, giving me complete confidence in its long-term durability. Additionally, the hinge mechanism is exceptionally smooth yet sturdy enough to hold its position perfectly. Finally, the overall responsiveness of the interface is lightning-fast with zero lag when switching between apps. Highly recommended!

                  For my experience very excellent for fold 8 dahil ang dali nya lang dalhin at ang ganda nyang panooran... grabe din yung design nakuha ni samsung yung talagang need ng mga client sa palagay ko dahil sulit yung mga features na meron to lalo na kung mahilg ka manood ng movie or mag basa dhil sa mga AI na meron sya mas mapapadala narin yung ginagawa mo. Dagdag pa dito meron silang bago yung Fan Cam for video editing na maenjoy mo lalo na kung my mga favorite Character kang gustong gusto mo panoorin... kht sa labas at loob ng bahay unstable yung viewing dahil mataas na brightness nito... for me is a good and nice.

                  I'm super satisfied with this new fold series. Fold 8 ultra is slimmer and light weight which makes it very portable for me. The anti reflective coating on the inner screen makes outdoor viewing during the day less stressful Its battery capacity of 5000mah plus the super fast charging option of up to 45W is amazing As a photo and video girlie I so much enjoy the my fan cam AI option that helps me to focus on a particular person or object and create a professional video of them exempting them from the crowd. multi-tasking o this new device is much fun than ever. Look the cameras could be better, but it's not like I'm a professional photographer either! IP rating could be better but again I've never really exposed any of my previous founds to the elements, like sand for example. I don't think I'd ever go back to slab style phone ever again, or in particular a Z Fold 7/8 Ultra form factor!! Z Fold just fits, it's perfect!! Well done Samsung i think you finally got it right!!

                  I had most generations of past folds , I just skipped the fold 7 and got the fold 8. So far I'm very happy with it, I thing the outside screen is more usable being wider than the candy cane style , I was never a fan of it. When you open it ilthe inner screen is very sharp and bright and the new aspect ratio is more enjoyable for most popular content I watch ( YouTube,FB,etc) also the crease is almost gone!. Battery last me all day compare to the fold 6 that I had to top up on the afternoon !. The smaller form factor I enjoy better , as it is easier to carry in the pocket, built quality seems pretty good as well , so durability must have being improved,only the time will tell. The new hardware paired with the new UI is very responsive and snappy .

With the ultra the screen is too narrow and i feel i need to open it more than i should. The crease is barely visible at the moment which is great. Not sure how this will be over time. Battery life is good last me the day. The hinge is very keen not sure im confortable with the forceful opening. Its alot lighter than my previous phone so durability is yet to be determined. But with this being so light im worried for how it would stand up to being dropped. With the 1tb 16gb it feel rapid when it comes to responsiveness.

They're uncomfortable and impractical. This is the perfect form factor - so easy to hold, and the large folded out screen is amazing. Most importantly, it's a true joy to use folded as well because the screen is a perfect size. Feels great in the pocket too. So far the hinge has only creased a little so I just hope it's durable over time. If so, it's perfect. Not gone below 50% battery with moderate use on both screens, including games. Samsung, kudos. This is a game changer!

My favourite Samsung phone was the last Note (still have it, its iconic) but I have loved the folds since they starting coming out. Since I saw this one, I knew I had to have it. Its notsaglic in a way cos its like passport size (back to when phones fitted within the palm of your hand) but yet when you open it up takes everything to another level. The look, the design , the features and performance is all A+++++++. I do wish they would bring back the micro SD card
